Where to start? Are you ready? Well, this is a church of double standards for "pastor's" vs. regular attenders/lower staff for sure, plus many other things to come...I would read this and find a better church to truly find the true love of Jesus being taught, not just their twisted version.
Around 19 years ago, the music director unfortunately had an affair with the youth "pastor's" secretary. Yes, that was horrible...but, how it was handled vs. how the founding "pastor's" affair was handled are TWO completely different stories. First, the music director was basically told he was a useless, worthless piece of crap and was fired/outcasted along with the other staff member involved. Cut to quite a few years later (within 10 years I believe), the founding "pastor" Bolin was having sex with his secretary, blamed it on his medication and was loved and given every opportunity under the sun to reconcile with his wife, the church, have all the "counseling" sessions he needed. His son, now lead "pastor" Jason stepped in for cheating daddy during the few years and then daddy Bolin was restored as the head "pastor" once he felt better from getting caught cheating on his wife. Double standard?? Yup. Oh yeah, and the church has now changed names to Seven Springs to try to cover up all of this from their headlines.

I've watched this church hire mainly young, "hip" guys/girls try to "lead" as they just sit in their offices, play on their social media accounts, and have "cool" services, all while the older staff, mainly the hired part-timers, do all the grunt work and actual ministry. This church continues to preach, "give us your money for God's blessing" to a group of middle to low class attenders who really don't have the money to do so and the lead church "pastor's" all live in really big/nice homes and drive very nice cars for themselves. The "pastor's" all blast the LGBTQ family and try to "pray their sins away" for them and push those that are attending and quietly living a lifestyle of the LGBTQ community in silence until they can't take the hateful messages from the stage and finally leave.. They only bring up social injustices just to pat their mainly "white" staff on the back even though at least 1/2 of their congregation is African American/black.
There are MANY other instances to bring up but I'm getting carpal tunnel syndrome typing so much so I'll leave one last thing... After the founding "pastor's" affair, the bank miraculously forgave the church of their mortgage which was in the millions (probably for the tax right-off if I had to guess). And now, without any of the other church members knowing besides the staff, I happened upon several listings online of this very church being sold for $15,000,000.00 ....yes that is 15 MILLION dollars that they will pocket and no one in the church knows it's for sale. To say this is shady is an understatement.
