Being a yoga teacher myself I really appreciate when somebody has the skills to offer me the atmosphere of calm and healing when I take time for just me. Bess is first of all wonderful at that, calm and holding space with grace and warmth. And then she massages like a Goddess, it was perfect. I felt she adjusts pressure very intuitively. I like it fairly strong and that was no problem - super yummy. And sometimes I can be totally ticklish when a massage therapist gets to work on me, not so here. It was wonderful, and I felt great all day after. The neck tension I came in with was gone and I just felt like skipping and smiling on my way to the car. I will most definitely go to Bess again. After two days of panchakarma treatments, I feel wonderfully grounded, nourished and relaxed in body, heart and mind. I could not have imagined how special an experience this would be. When I arrived, Bronwen showed me to the sweetest guest space: A large, private, sunlit apartment with big windows overlooking gorgeous forested hills and sprawling farm fields. The serene, simple and beautiful environment let me feel right at home moments after arriving. And then... came the treatments! An exceptional experience from start to finish. We began with a short opening ceremony, where Bronwen invoked a beautiful space of intention, heart opening and ease. From there, she began a full body massage with warm herbal infused oils handcrafted specifically for my constitution. Her level of sensitivity, attunement and skill immediately helped me sink into a profoundly restful space, allowing my body and mind to relax at deeper and deeper levels. Her love and devotion to this work is palpable. Yet the massage was just one of the different kinds of traditional Ayurvedic treatments during our time together, all of which perfectly aligned with my body's constitutional needs. The warmth and nourishment I experienced through the various therapies she introduced was like pressing the ultimate reset button - I feel rejuvenated. I can only imagine what magic could happen over many more days of this work... and I hope to come back again to find out! I could not have higher praise for my experience, thank you again for such a beautiful offering.
