If you're more Hermes than High Street, this is not the store for you. But if you like a rummage and love surprises (because, seriously, you never know what you'll find in here - good and bad), then you'll love this miniature kingdom dedicated to furiously fast, cheap fashion.
Yes there's some trash (there's rather a lot of man-made fibre in here, and some stuff is quite tarty), but if you're prepared to rifle the racks, there's also some treasures. As I write this, I'm wearing a pair of white, 40s style, wide legged, linen-esque trousers that cost me $19.99 from this very store (they're sheer so perfect for lounging around the house in the Brissie humidity, or over your swimsuit on the beach).
And, a little tip for you - just head for the $12.95 rack (they usually have one) and you may bag yourself a sweet little cotton mini sun dress - I've purchased a couple and actually wear them as nighties. Cheaper than Peter Alexander!
I also got myself a fab black and white tuxedo jacket there too - surprisingly good quality and cut.
