You know that thing about books and covers? Cafe falls right into that category. I was at DFO early one morning (dragged there by mother dearest who likes to get things like shopping out of the way before lunch) and hadn't had breakfast yet. Mum insisted we stop and grab something, and in my "experience"* there was nothing but vending machine food and gluten-free cookies around for me to eat.
A mum's insistence is hard to refuse, so we stopped at Selina Cafe and asked tentatively if they, by any chance, might possibly maybe have something I can eat.
The answer? Loads.
I had a gluten-free salad wrap, made up fresh for me on the spot. If I didn't want that, I could have had a salad, or any number of cakes and biscuits. Or yoghurt. Or fruit. The lady (owner) was incredibly helpful, sympathetic, and patient as I made up my mind (I'm not used to choice, and therefore not good at it). It's a shame the décor doesn't match the standards, because it looks cheap and bog-standard, when in fact it's not.
