Daniel suggested a new way that I could wear my hair so that it looked softer on my face, and produced the goods! I liked the fact that he didn't ask me vacuous questions, and allowed me to talk if I wished. I do not like looking at myself in the mirror when having my hair cut, so it was good that he is easy on the eye! like many salons they only accept cash or cheques, so the £28.50 cleaned out my purse and left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. however because it was such a good cut and it suits me, that didn't last long. No 6 is a pleasant place, but the actual salon area is on the first floor, which may make it difficult for some potential clients.

At the momment one of the stylists is off on pregnancy leave, so it's more difficult, but the owner will try. The prices as usual vary according to whether you have a senior stylist, Sarah or Debs do your hair or Sheryl the junior. Children's hair-cuts run from £7 according to how long it takes. The staff have a real flair with putting them at ease, even boys! Gents Wet / Dry Cuts are £5-£17. Ladies all over colour runs from £25-£42. A shampoo, cut and blow dry are £32/£25.
