The service lacked organization and professionalism. The obituary had an advertisement tacked onto the end of it in an effort to sell flowers off the funeral home website. The obituary itself had misspellings and a few modifications that resulted in grammatical incorrectness. It wasn't what we submitted to them. It was difficult not to be offended after the experience we had with them. Not only did they not treat us with the necessary consideration, they did a pretty good job of making us look unintelligent via the poorly copied obituary. We were insulted by the whole experience.

I would recommend using a different business that has it together. Perhaps Wilburton, McAlester or Poteau. The owners of the Talihina Funeral Home also own Clayton Funera Home. Perhaps they expanded before they were ready. My experience with the Clayton location was much better. I hope to avoid doing business with any funeral home again for a very long time.

Mykel and his staff were so quick to accommodate any of our needs as a family during the sudden loss of our father. Mykel and his team were diligent in making sure that every detail was tended to; he really went the extra mile. When you lose a loved one, challenges immediately exist, Mykel was able to guide us through some of the complicated decisions a family has to make. He promptly went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were able to make it through this most difficult and precious time. Mykel made sure that the outdoor funeral we knew my father wanted went off without a hitch (even in the rain). He was succinct in offering us guidance based on his experience with my father with respect to the choice of casket, stationary, and so much more. We highly recommend Bratcher's to anyone looking for help during such a challenging time. Losing loved ones is tough - having a professional team serve in such a delicate capacity helps tremendously. The ground is well maintained and closely mowed with most of the markers intact and standing upright.
