Good expanded service with lots of doctors. I like the new telephone the morning you need an…read moreappointment service, and they have recently refitted the waiting room which is much better now. A pharmacy is attached to the centre for ease of prescription collections, and there is a travel clinic for getting holiday jabs, etc. You never feel stupid for going to get something as simple as a repeat prescription for the pill, and the reception staff are friendly. I only wish I could see the same doctor every time I need to go. It's sad that you have no ability to build a rappore with a family doctor who gets to know your medical history. Also the call out service could be improved - my grandfather was very ill recently and it took 2 days to have a call out doctor come to see him by which time an ambulance was required.

This is the best surgery I have been to. There is a Boots very close by which is ideal for getting prescriptions from. The doctors and nurses always seem to be running on time.

It's usually not easy to see the same doctor…read moretwice but on the other hand you never have to wait very long for an appointment especially for children. Popular play corner for children inclusing a play house. Usual range of services including dispensing for people not living in Tavistock itself. Friendly reception staff. Ample parking although it can get a bit congested at busy times.
