They were able to get us in the same morning we called at normal rates, and were exceptional. We caught it before they became infected and they were able to easily treat it and give her updated shots for a reasonable price and quickly! The place runs like a well oiled machine but with a lot of heart. Everyone was nice and reasonable. After the appointment we discovered there was a large well kept lawn and garden with free bags and trash for cleaning up after pets and even picnic tables! It was very clean and well kept. We booked another appointment for our other dog Abby for the next day and we'll be inquiring about their other services like boarding and grooming.

When asked several times why, they stated it was new policy and all clients were being charged a deposit for appointment visits. I asked each time I brought our pets in and had to prepay for the office visit before I could make each appointment and every time they said "New policy, everyone pays a deposit for office visits" I called several times under the guise of being a new client and asked about fees and terms of service, needless to say, they don't charge deposits for every client. They were dishonest every time I asked in person! It turned out that over the many many years we've been clients, we missed a total of 3 appointments. They never told us about charges, which we would have paid for the missed appointments but they never said anything, their web site doesn't say anything other than payment due at time of servic. Paying a deposit is not paying at time of service. I love the Drs and techs and will continue to go but I'm not happy about the failure to disclose and lying to me about it.

So I called the vet and they got me in the next day at 9am. The evening before her appointment Susie looked like she was much better so I called and canceled our appointment. Then the next morning we got up and she was back to not eating and being lethargic and even worse. She was having a hard time just walking outside. I called that morning and they got us in that day at 4:30 pm. As the day went on she was getting worse and worse and wouldn't open her eyes unless she absolutely had to. Got to the vet and they found the problem so quickly after doing an ultrasound they found that she had pyometra--an infection/inflammation of the uterus that can cause it to fill with fluid or pus and can become life-threatening if the uterus isn't removed. They scheduled us for surgery the next morning at 8am. We took her in and the staff was so amazing. We picked susie up from the vet after surgery later that day and we could instantly tell that she was feeling much much better. We are so incredibly thankful for First city veterinary hospital! She's recovering amazingly!! She's doing so good that we're having a hard time keeping her down to rest and recover! She's also reactive to other dogs and they made it so easy to get her in. I walked in and checked her in and then they brought us through the side door!

With all of our previous vets we had emergent issues that would have required us to either pay an emergency vet or wait weeks. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and judge free. They manage a lot of care on the app. The app is great for vaccine and flea med reminders as well as communicating with your care team for questions. I feel like with other vets they won't answer questions over the phone even simple ones without an appointment. Price point is high- but they have to run a business I'm sure the cost of running a clinic like this is steep as well. A little more price transparency would be good.

I live on the East side so I'd chosen a vet close to home but it's Dr. Chris who has come to my aid and helped me through some panicky/tough times with my cats. My cat Jilly stopped eating and before I knew it, she was skin and bones. She is already a dainty cat, and really furry, so it didn't take long for her bones of her spine to start protruding. I could not get her in to the vet near me so Dr. Chris analyzed the situation and calmed my fears. It was hyper-thryoid and after getting her onto meds, Jilly gained her weight back and is back to being her frisky self. My boy kitty, Jacky, died very suddenly not too long ago. He was 13 and both my vet and the emergency vet hospital said he probably had liver or kidney disease and there would have been very little they could have done for him. Dr. Chris concurred and had a long talk with me about my current situation. Numerous friends are pushing me to get another cat, but Jilly hates other cats (Jacky being an exception, because I got them both as kittens). Dr. Chris explained that cats are not pack animals and getting another cat might actually really stress her out and cause illness to her. That eased my mind a great deal. Jilly fights the neighbor cats by attacking my sliding glass doors. She continually attacked the rescue cat I took in a few years ago, who ran away after I let him out to play in the backyard (where I originally found him). Dr. Chris was giving me rational advice. She understands animals and knows what's best for them. Jilly wants me for herself and would prefer solitude while I am am work than sharing her home with a new cat. Dr. Chris is incredibly caring and gives solid, smart advice. I know that I can always trust her to level with me about what is best for my baby Jilly.

I'm not entirely certain which Yelp is the correct one for the rehab center but here goes…read more I came here and had a consult with Dr Shannon last week. First off, just want to say that I'm pretty much in love with all the staff here (minus one receptionist that I met today who wasn't the friendliest person compared to everyone else). Shawna brought me to the exam room to prep me for Dr Shannon. Back story: My sweet 12 year old dog has gotten more lame in his rear quarters and my husband and I want to prevent it from getting worse. We were told by our Vet in Tualatin park animal clinic to get rehab consult. I'm so so thankful we met who we met here. Shawna was so friendly, kind, gentle with my dog. She patiently listened to everything I had to say, asked follow up questions so I knew she was actually listening. She was just really present. Then moments later walks Dr Shannon. Something about her energy just made me feel like my boy was in such safe hands. The consult was 2 hours long but it didn't even feel that long. Dr Shannon was so so thorough, but so so gentle knowing my pup was in pain. Half way through the appointment he even fell asleep! After the appointment they gave me homework and Shawna thoroughly went over everything. She showed me what to do and all the tricks I needed to know. Fast forward a week. I can't remember the tech that took my pup back for his water therapy but I totally love her energy! She told me I could watch from outside, which I did for a few minutes as they got him set up inside the tank. But both Shawna and the other tech kept petting him and reassuring him. My heart melted knowing they were being so good to him without me being there comforting him myself. When he was done they called. The tech whose name I forgot brought him out and was so super sweet she patient telling me how he was doing and answering all my questions. She mentioned something that made my day about what a good boy he was and how he just knew what to do, and that nothing phased him. These are things pet owners need to hear because I'm honestly thinking he's scared out of his mind being somewhere new. Thank you, all of you for taking such good care of my best friend. Despite only coming here twice I want to come back all the time. I can't praise them enough.

Lifesavers! The only clinic that could, and did, help me travel internationally with my dog…read more I called over 10 different veterinary clinics trying to find someone who could help me with an international health certificate for my dog, Shanti, and every single one either said they couldn't do it, didn't know how, or simply wouldn't help. Full Circle Vet was the only clinic willing and able to take it on, and they absolutely nailed it. From start to finish, every single staff member was warm, friendly, and totally on top of it. They handled complex paperwork, USDA requirements, and tight deadlines with such calm professionalism that it made a very stressful process feel manageable. They knew exactly what to do, acted promptly at every turn, and responded to obstacles with ease and confidence. Because of them, I am able to fly internationally with my dog today, something that's far more difficult and delicate than most people realize. I honestly don't know what I would've done without them I will say, it was expensive but that cost reflected the level of care, expertise, and commitment I received. In a situation where timing and accuracy are everything, they delivered Endlessly grateful to the team at Full Circle Vet. You are rare, you are amazing, and you have a lifelong fan in me (and Shanti!)

We received a call the day before his surgery to go over details. They have a parking lot out front which made it easy the next morning. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. The front was clean and organized. My only suggestion would be to have the option to complete paperwork online beforehand instead of doing in clinic. It was hard to read and sign papers with a puppy (he was so excited by all the new smells). They gave us the time frame of when he could be ready and followed-up after his surgery for pick-up time. We opted to pay a little bit extra to get the disposal stitches so we wouldn't have to go back to get them taken out. The post care instructions were clear. We appreciated the follow-up call the day after his surgery to check on him. Overall we had a great experience.

I have mixed feelings about my experience here…read more I got my girl kitty when she was only 5 weeks old, and she grew up alongside our older male cat. They had always gotten along very well and were closely bonded. When it came time for her spay surgery, she was under a lot of stress. Before the procedure, the staff performed their examination and had me sign several forms, but nobody mentioned that the experience could potentially affect her relationship with our other cat. After the surgery, I was instructed to keep her in a separate room while she healed, which I did. What I didn't realize was that this separation, combined with the surgery and stress, could create tension between the two cats. Once her stitches were removed, I was told she could return to normal activity and roam the house again. I followed those instructions and let her back into the house before leaving for work. When I came home, I found fur from my male cat stuck under her nails and scratches on his face. It became immediately clear that something had changed between them. When I picked up my male cat to comfort him, my female cat attacked me as well, scratching me repeatedly. I had to defend myself and get away while protecting my other cat. I called the veterinary office and asked whether this type of behavior was known to occur after surgery. Later, the doctor called me back and confirmed that yes, they are aware that cats can sometimes become aggressive toward other household pets after procedures due to changes in scent, stress, and separation. What upset me most was that this was never discussed beforehand, nor was I asked to acknowledge it as a potential risk. Had I known this could happen, I would have either delayed the surgery until I could better prepare or taken additional precautions during the reintroduction process. Instead, I was caught completely off guard. When I asked for solutions, I was advised to purchase supplements and a diffuser, which cost me another $100. Thankfully, after about two stressful weeks, the cats have mostly returned to their normal relationship. The surgery itself appears to have gone well, and the staff were professional. My disappointment comes from the lack of communication regarding a known behavioral risk that had a significant impact on both my pets and myself. I simply wish I had been warned so I could have been better prepared.
