The doctor was so nice and stayed late on a Friday to fit me right in. He and his staff made me feel right at home. His nurse Chi was so friendly and made the entire experience exceptional. I don't like salons with gaggles of people, lots of noise, horrible music and obnoxious smells. This place is perfect for me. It was quite, smelled nice, the music was not memorable but present, so it was a relaxing experience! My hair turned out great. Abby was careful to cut a little at a time to make sure I was okay with the length as my hair is quite long and has been for some time. Thank you Abby, you rock!

I am sick which causes hair issues. I decided to go in person to schedule instead of online since I…read moreknow my hair is a lot right now. I picked this place bc it is "health conscious" and their branding made me feel comfortable because of my health issues. I needed my roots done or some way to blend it due to regrowth and no energy to fix it. It is frustrating because I would have been ok with a root melt/smudge/etc. I am pretty open to changing to something manageable during this hard time. I would have been ok with an off scalp application that blends the line with bleach or a semi darker dye. Instead, I was just basically looked at like nope, we only do highlights. No question on why I was in this business or if I was open to other applications than on the scalp bleach. I would have been open to a conversation. It is an unfortunate way of handling things. Since I came to your business on purpose. Instead it seems I was judged instantly and pushed out the door. I don't believe health conscious branding that doesn't care to actually ask why someone is in their specific business before telling them to go down the road. All that said, the interaction wasn't negative. Just unfortunate.

I may be a little biased because Georgeann has been my friend since middle school, but I promise…read morethis review is honest. First, I was very skeptical of the claims made of essential oils. A blend to help you fall asleep and stay asleep? Yeah right. A blend to help calm your dogs? Suuuuure. Because Georgeann is my friend, I wanted to support her small business, so I ordered some sample sizes of various products. Every last one does what it says. The Silent Night roller does help me fall asleep and stay asleep. I use it every night and it's amazing. Calm the Dog actually calms dogs. I was dog sitting this dog who during the first night was really having a hard time relaxing. She was panting and pacing for hours, and nothing I tried to calm her helped. That's when I remembered I ordered Calm the Dog. I put some around her collar and on the bridge of her nose and within 5 minutes she laid down and went to sleep. Restore balm is the greatest thing since buttered corn on the cob. I've been using it as a facial moisturizer and it has softened my wrinkles. The biggest thing is it's made the milia cysts (tiny, white lumps)on my eyelids go away. The lip balms blow store brands out of the water. Plus, there's a Facebook group for Heaven Scent Aroma Shop where Georgeann is there to answer any questions you may have. I don't live in area anymore, so my orders are shipped to me. The shipping rate is reasonable and the packages always arrive in a timely manner. I do know that Georgeann will deliver your order herself if you're close by. Now THAT is superb customer service. The prices are reasonable. The products are excellent. And the customer service is phenomenal. I'm definitely a life-long customer, and you should be too.

A Chinese women, (not the one that checked me out at the front desk mind you,) comes out infront of my car waving and motioning for me not to leave yet. I open my door to see what she wants. Come to find she accusing me of stealing a 2 dollar lipgloss I was looking at just before checkout. She says " did you pay for the lipgloss?" I state I did not purchase one. And she then has the absolute audacity to say that "I saw you on the cameras" this kind of blatant discrimination and harassment against women of color can not continue. The fact that this is a black beauty supply store and this woman had this bias against black woman is beyond disgusting. I would not make the mistake of giving this place my business ever again. And had I had the time I would have gone back and returned all the hair I purchased. These people do not deserve any of my hard earned money. This is 2023 and we are still experiencing this kind of obvious racism. This is unacceptable.

When I brought it to their attention, because I booked with them for them to check the incision site the next day after the ER visit- they asked if I had been drinking when they inserted the pellet. While I understand drinking (alcohol) would thin your blood, I had not been drinking. I found it grossly negligent as a trainer inserted the pellet. And despite being numbed I felt pain, which they knew during my visit. The assisting nurse numbed me more, but the ER said an arterial vein was clipped and that was the cause for the bleeding. No apology, no trying to make it right. They just tried to turn it around on something I did. It didn't feel good. I pay a lot of money for HrT. I am not looking to have to go to the ER to fix something I pay for out of pocket! I am not a drinker. I did nothing. Took it easy, in fact had been laying on my couch watching TV, when I got up, there was a massive amount ( ring about 4-5 inches in diameter that I bleed through on my couch, much less my underwear and pants. I did nothing feel it until the air hit the area, and this was about 7 hours later. I will not be giving my money here again. It wasn't that it happened as much as the response when I asked them to check the incision site the next day. No empathy or compassion for something they did, which does not work for me. (Was my 3rd or 4th injection to boot)

I've never had one and don't feel I needed one but I went ahead because she was a good talker. She started by pinching me face many times with a tool she said was removing blackheads. She handed me a mirror and pointed out the blackheads which were not visible to me at all. I should have known that this was a scam facial that I did not need but I trusted her anyway. Big mistake! All she did was pinch my face with that device for maybe ten minutes, and it was fairly painful. She smeared some paste on my face and when it was all over, the bill was $231! For what? For basically nothing but lies and discomfort and a $231 bill! I will never go back and feel conned by Christine and her office. Henry J. Flandysz 239-877-8339
