An option was checked by default and it was snuck into the design and because no one was expecting an extra logo to pop up, it got printed. When I noticed this extra logo and called them - they had a terrible attitude, saying most people prefer to have this logo inserted in their work and it's common practice for union printing companies to add extra logos when printing work by default and they've been doing that for 15 years. No remedy was offered and basically said if we want it fixed we would have pay for a new expedited order. If you don't want a printer to be adding their own logo as a default to your work - I would suggest you use someone else. - - - Giving your business negative feedback does not equate to anti-union sentiment please. What a joke. Who taught you how to respond to criticism? Netanyahu? When printers send back digital proof - people are typically checking for color, layout, cutoffs etc. People don't expect your PRINTER to be adding in extra logos to your design.

Do not associate this book store with NY Flushing based Chinese newspaper "World Journal" as they bear no connection. Staff is extremely inattentive in their own off-the-job nonsense as I was simply invisible to their presence. I was invisible-- not an iota, not a particle in space. They do not have a business card and only speak Mandarin, who cannot resonate basic English. This book store certainly do NOT offer the world in any journal format!! Personally, I prefer Manhattan Elizabeth Street's Oriental Culture Enterprises Co. as the BEST Chinese book store for the most comprehensive and extensive selection.

The Big Takeover is hands down my favourite music magazine. Jack Rabid's passion for "music with…read moreheart" is real. If it wasn't his DIY magazine wouldn't still be around some 25 years since its creation. I always discover a new band because of this magazine. His interviews are never gossip-y. All of the ads are music related in some way. My only problem with this magazine is that it weighs a ton (it's gone from photocopied black and white pages to a 300 page plus music "bible") so I can't take it with me on long BART rides. If I had the money for a lifetime subscription, I would sign up but for now I'll stick to my $20 subscription for four HUGE issues. I'm usually finishing up the previous issue once I receive the current one. (It comes out twice a year.) Skip Rolling Stone and Spin and pick up the Big T or Under the Radar or Magnet or Paste. Worth supporting Jack and his love of music with heart. There's something for everyone in here: His reviews consist of old school punk rock, indie rock, British Rock, alternative rock, and even Jazz.
