I would wait with anticipation for the magazines to arrive and quickly identified the magazine with our profession and what it meant to be a therapist. I also made a strong connection between NASW and Psychology Today at that time. about twenty-five years ago when it was time for me to contact Psychology today I spoke to Saty Persaud and Jo Coleman who both helped me and inspired me with their enthusiasm and vision for therapy and the future of therapy. I still love my profile on Psychology Today to this day. I recommend Psychology Today and Sussex publishing highly to anyone seeking knowledge, vision, and inspiration in the psychotherapeutic fields. The place is pretty small, There's some working desks where I guess people work during the day for service. There's really no one that runs this place, since it is a non-profit organization. It might actually. I'm not sure. Smells like a doctor, which isn't very pleasing but I don't mind. Place is clean, and has great activities once in a while. A lot of the activities are to donate objects, or for charity of some kind.

If you are a BSD, this is the magazine for you…read more If you don't know what BSD stands for, you need to read Liar's Poker (Which is still my favorite in the genre). It's the Robb Report for Traders, written in the tone of Maxim. A magazine for Wall Street boys who want to live large & rub it in your face. We're talking large watches, large egos & large appetites. Fat meals for those living the phat life. I'm not kidding. Each installment introduces you to a new 5,000 calorie meal (per person). I wonder, however, where they are going to find women who will eat 500 grams of fat in one sitting. When the magazine first launched, each issue featured "Trader Daters". The section has since disappeared. Maybe the current batch of men prefer cars over women... As the Porsche advertisement reads, "trophy wives require a lot more maintenance." With multi-million dollar bonuses, you would think they could afford both. But anyway... It's an entertaining magazine for Masters of the Universe to keep tabs on the industry & culture. (Read: Compare themselves to each other. I'm doing so much better than X, I aspire to be Y & why hasn't Z been arrested, yet?) Or in their own words: "Trading is more than a job. It's a lifestyle, a culture. ...stories about who is making money and advice on how to make more yourself, to how to spend it on the best, wildest and most decadent stuff out there. ...We also show you who's making it, who's faking it, what's been done to death and what's wide open for you. The essentials."
