I don't get the connection besides them both being Korean. I've been previously and really enjoyed the lunch specials. I went again and everything was just not quite right. Cold fried egg, dry rice, wet lettuce leaves. Our waiter had a pretty offensive shirt on but I think he was oblivious to it's real meaning. An unfortunate cultural gap. He also hovered around us uncomfortably and we couldn't help but laugh as he stood a meter away from our table and watched us eat, because we weren't ready for him to clear our table just yet. (As I'm an Australian for 34years) It was very unusual and we hoped that the food wasn't as terrible as the service, but i was wrong. The food was a bit cold and seemed a little off to me and my wife?.. It had a weird smell from the meat and the vegetables weren't cooked properly. As I'm giving two stars, I believe that is a generous response after my horrible unusual experience. And the venue was previously placed as a Japanese restaurant, which was my favourite in Newcastle, but now that it's gone and replaced by a restaurant which doesn't approve a nice and fair meal or service, we are devastated!
