I've visited this location about 9 times in the last month while dealing with bursitis in my right…read morehip. I went three times during the week of Christmas alone because I was really trying to squeeze in as many trips as possible just prior to the end of the year so I could maximize my met insurance deductible before it reset on 1 January. They were absolutely great about accommodating me and my request and managed to fit me in for 6 of those appointments with only about 13 days left in the year (4 being weekends and 1 being a holiday). I did a range of exercises during my four weeks here with Jonathan and some of the PT assistants. I usually had the same gal, I believe her name was Ivor, and she was adorable. Very peppy and friendly. By the end of my four weeks she gave me a hug on my last day and said she'd miss me. I'd never been to Physical Therapy before - so I honestly didn't know what to expect. A few people had mentioned it because my bursitis had been bothering me since July so when I finally went to a specialist who recommended it I figured it was time to do something about it. PT is an interesting bird - you go in - warm up whatever part you will be stretching and strengthening that day - do a bunch of stretches each time (usually the same ones so after a while they don't even need to tell you what you'll be doing, they just put out the equipment you'll need. Afterwards your Physical Therapist will usually come and spend about 15-20 minutes of one-on-one time with you either stretching or massaging the area you're working. When I first started physical therapy the pain was a lot the first week or so - so sometimes my therapist, Jonathan, would rub some muscle relaxer like bengay on my hip. I'd always end with an ice pack and those little electrodes to stimulate the muscles in the area. According to my doctor - I only needed PT for a short period of time - to learn the stretches and strengthening exercises to get me smart on doing it at home - so my original prescription was only for about 3-4 weeks 2-3 times per week. As I mentioned in my first review, Jonathan did a long initial consult and exam and we discussed that my main concern was being able to work out again. So we've been over the last two weeks getting me to slowly work out again for 15-25 minutes and doing my strength moves. So far all is going well and I have been able to increase by 10 minutes in the last two weeks with very little pain. This is BIG because since July if I worked out for even 10 minutes my hip would pulsate with pain like a tooth ache. It was miserable and I need to work out to get some of my aggression out! My last appointment was last Tuesday and Jonathan spent a lot of time with me just before I left making sure I knew everything I needed to do - giving me a handout of my exercises to take home - and providing me with a few tools I needed. He stretched my hip/leg one more time and everyone wished me well. I feel that this has been very beneficial to me and I am a firm believe in PT now. I'm able to work out 3x per week for 20-25 minutes and I will slowly work back up for 45 minutes or an hour at max. I have a few tools to continue my strength exercises and was told by Jonathan to call if I ever have questions or need anything and I really believe he meant it. I always had a good time here - and really enjoyed working with Jonathan. He's exceedingly pleasant and personable. We talked about True Blood and some other tv shows while we did stretches and such because I had just started watching it over Christmas vacation and he had seen the entire series. It made the time fly and also made the stretch/massage time less awkward. He is easy to work with and seems to not only be excellent at his job but very personable. I did not meet the other therapist though I did see him some - Brian - so I can't comment on him but I'm sure he's excellent as well. If I EVER need PT again - this is my place.

My doctor recommended this location because it was close to home for me and because PT was…read moreextremely important to my recovery from surgery. I am thrilled he did because I had to start two hours after surgery and I had so much anxiety about going, but the staff was friendly, yet encouraging, so knowledgeable and the team spirit there was very moving. The professional manner in which they took care of me with a twist of hometown friendliness was warming. I would recommend this PT spot for the many who are ready to work and heal.

I attended therapy for three months, and every day I was welcomed and well cared for. Libby and the team always checked in on me during my exercises, making sure my form was correct so I wouldn't risk further injury. From start to finish, I felt respected, supported, and never out of place. Everyone was courteous, attentive, and treated me as if I were part of their own family. I honestly can't imagine a bad experience here -- my time was nothing but positive. Thank you, Libby and the team, for your dedication and genuine care. It truly made a difference for me.

The easiest way to get in is from General Booth Blvd. southbound where Jose Tequillas is located, as there is no direct access from the road there. So, what brought me here in the first place. Achilles Tendonitis in the left foot. In April 2018, I was walking to get my lunch at work and I felt something pop with my left foot which didn't feel good. The ground is flat too. So, after seeing the specialist and finding out it was Achilles tendonitis, I was referred here for physical therapy to get this issue resolved. The good thing is that I started this process pretty quickly after it occurred, so it minimized the effects and length of time needed for physical therapy. When I called the office, I was surprised at how quickly they were able to get me in. I was there for my first visit and consultation just two days after seeing the specialist. My therapist for the duration of this issue was Crystal Barnes, who is also the clinic director. The first visit starts with a consultation to go over the issue at hand, take measurements, and the such. After that first visit, it would then be just working through the physical therapy process to get things back to normal. The physical therapy part of this adventure wasn't as easy as I thought at the beginning, but they do start you off slowly with the exercises and then eventually work you up higher as things improve, including adding additional activities. This part is normally done with their physical therapy assistants. Crustal also did some deep massage and dry needling as well. For both of those, you will really feel it and may hurt, especially on the first round, but it gets much easier after that. Over a few sessions, you will definitely tell the difference. I was going there two times a week for a little over two months. After a few months, the issue was finally resolved and no longer needed to continue the physical therapy. Fast forward a few months. I have no recurring issues with my foot at this point for the Achilles tendonitis. I am also still doing some of the exercises as done in physical therapy to this day to keep certain this issue doesn't come back later. The entire staff here is great to work with. The ones at the front desk always greet you with a smile and nice to have small conversation with when it isn't too busy at the time. Crystal has been great with my foot and the issue. If for some reason I do need physical therapy in the future, this will definitely be the place I come back to. If you need physical therapy, you need to check them out as well.

Needless to say after an urgent care and subsequent ER visit, she was diagnosed with a concussion. I was almost immediately referred to David at Direct Performance. As soon as I reached out to David, he was proactive in getting her in for an evaluation as quickly as possible. Once we were in the office, he was relaxed, positive, encouraging, and thorough in his evaluation. My daughter was at ease with him immediately, and I appreciated how he walked me through what he saw, what it meant, and how we could move forward. We were given exercises to do at home, and as she progressed, and we were able to identify specific issues related to the concussion, he did targeted exercises that helped her improve. After 2.5 months, she was fully healed and released, but not until David was fully confident that she was safe to play again - again I appreciated even if the process was frustrating sometimes. I will also say that this thoroughness also helped my daughter's confidence in herself and her health which allowed her to play aggressively right out of clearance. Overall, I was so impressed with the quality of the people and the care we received that I have brought my daughter back to Direct Performance for agility training, and we are looking forward to seeing what progress she can now make with Max's assistance.

Having undergone a multi-level lumbar fusion, I've had years of Physical Therapy from various places--some better than others. However, after hearing about this location just a mile from my home and receiving a new prescription for PT, I decided to give it a try based on the positive feedback I received. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Dr. Jen. Within minutes of talking to her, I realized that this company had a unique concept compared to other therapy centers I've been to. I left feeling confident and proceeded to set up my sessions. Dr. Jen, a fantastic listener with extensive knowledge, made me feel at ease during the evaluation. She introduced techniques that proved more effective than anything I had experienced before, considering the sensitivity of my condition. The game plan we developed aligned perfectly with my goals, and I appreciated the additional information she provided for my home program. I am confident she will help me achieve my objectives, and I look forward to the phase where we can truly dive in to make me whole again. Not only is Dr. Jen excellent, but the facility itself is lovely. It feels like a place designed to help both individuals like me and top-tier athletes recover from injuries or enhance their performance. I highly recommend this place for Physical Therapy or improving your athletic endeavors.

I was so happy to get a call from this establishment to set up my appointment. My appointment was set over the phone for 1245 a few days away. I asked the young lady to hold the line while I switched screens on my phone to put the appointment and address on my calendar. I could see the light to finally get a little relief from this pain. The appointment was here, everyone at work excited for me because hopefully no more limping and I would get a little relief from my pain. I got to the appointment 10 -12 minutes early only to be told that I am 10 minutes late for my 12:20 appointment. I explained my appointment is 12:45, asked if they send out emails or texts reminders etc. to be told no, they don't do that. The young lady proceeded to set up new appointment although I was trying to understand how I missed an appointment I clearly set in my phone and was in disbelief i couldn't be seen today. I asked if anyone else could take me or if the person I had the appointment with could take me for the remainder of the appointment only to rudely be told No! As she proceeded to once again give me my new appointment date and time and ask that I come 10-15 minutes early. I felt she was very rude spoke in a condescending tone. I'm wondering if my insurance company was still billed for this appointment? I set the appointment with her for 1100 the following week she asked me to show up a few minutes early to go over the paperwork she was giving me to take home to fill out. Once home as I am explaining this all to my husband and we are both frustrated with what I had just endured. I looked through the paperwork and folder and saw a card with the time 10:45 for my next appointment. Now I am thinking she just verbally offered me 1100, but put 10:45 on the card. What would happen if I show up at 10:45 or 10:50, will I be turn away again because i didn't show up a few minutes before my appointment time.
