Very Good Brazilian Restaurant in Saltillo.
I have to minus one star for not having rice. Sorry but I personally love having rice with my Brazilian Buffets. Other than the no rice though this place really hit the spot.
I came on New Years Eve right when they opened. The wait staff was excellent, the meats were seasoned very well. The start with complimentary chips and salsa. I tried one and they were good. But I didn't want to get full on chips, I came for the meats.
The stand out meats were the Filet Mignon and The Brisket by far. I wasn't a big fan of the regular sirloin but the garlic sirloin was pretty dam solid. The side dish bar which is included has some decent options. My stand out side dishes would be the egg salad, grilled onions & jalapenos, squash and carrots. I finished up the meal with the grilled pineapple with cinnamon which is always a happy ending.
Overall thoughts....
It was $300 pesos which is currently about $15 USD not including your drinks which I think is very fair. It's more than double that price in the states. I was slightly worried that being in Mexico the food might be adapted too much for my liking instead of being traditional Brazilian but that was not the case. Yes they had tortillas and chips and salsa but that was all optional and I didn't partake in any of those other than to take a small sample bite. I the Mexican adaptations all pleasant if that's your thing but again I like traditional Brazilian Food.
I really had a great experience!!!
I would go back and highly recommend this place it you are a meat lover. On the other hand if your not a meat fan or can not eat a big portions this place is probably not the best choice for you. For all my carnivores friends definitely step up to the plate and give this place a shot. Your going to love it. Lots of tender meats seasoned and cooked amazingly and some cool sides to accompany them. read more
