Wish I could…read more After second update that was in response the their do-nothing response, and received the same canned response; wanted to make sure folks know that there is NO GUARANTEE AND NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. YOU WILL PAY A PREMIUM PRICE FOR A PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT PERFORM AS ADVERTISED BY THEIR HARD-SELL REPRESENTATIVES. LeafFilter advertises two things: that you don't have to clean out gutters again, and there's a lifetime warranty. Their sales pitch is fairly high pressure and they start out with a very high price and then "discover" all of these discounts that brings it down to an almost reasonable price. The sales person will tell you over and over again about how you'll never have to clean your gutters and that, if you do have any problems, they will be right out to fix them. They also did modifications to help with a runoff issue related to the gutters. They claim to be able to do that expertly, but guess what, not so much. When my gutters began to overflow in moderately heavy rain... Not a monsoon...I contacted the company. I had to do this through this through a third-party because they list no customer service contacts anywhere... Only sales contacts. I did receive a response. Response was that all gutters have to be cleaned on a regular basis and that all gutters will overflow in a heavy downpour. I was then told that if I insisted they would send out someone to inspect the gutters but I was warned that I would be charged for the visit should they find that the gutters are not the problem. Specifically, if they find that they are clogged, the gutters are not the problem. I would say that their advertising is completely false and you should really avoid these folks if at all possible. One of the main reasons I went with them was that I have a stretch of guttering that is very dangerous to clean. From my experience you may not have to clean out the gutters as often but you definitely have to keep cleaning them out; probably once a year.

We discovered leaks during a recent long hard rain spell. The son (think his name is Eric) came out next day and gave us an estimate, that was within our budget to replace the entire ridge line that had popped up and the nails were basic holes in the roof. He came back the next day to give a temporary patch so we would not have more damage as it continued to rain, even though he was not well, his commitment to me was fore most. Because of the rain, they were delayed in getting back as there were other jobs in front of us that had been delayed...but only a couple of weeks. Their worker Dave came out, was polite, and fixed a few other things he noticed needed repair without charging anything more. I am very happy with the result.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with.
