We love this library! It is close to family we have visited twice this year. It is large and has an…read moreawesome play area for little ones. An area set aside to the back with everything needed to put on a puppet show, books displayed with ease for them to grab and pick up and a really cool large oval carpet with the ABC's on it. There is a large train track with magnetic train pieces for play too. It is clean and the choices are abundant in books and movies from little, to teen to adults. A really cool fish tank and lego display is in the entrance to the pre-juvenile area. The computers are in different areas for use in children's area or placed throughout for adults or different uses, such as laptops or using the computers there. I saw an area for cell phone use inside which I found to be useful and very cool. Staff was not over zealous to help or as friendly as I feel they should be. Maybe due to their servers being down county wide (I heard a them say to several users). Faxing is also not a service provided. This would be helpful for a charge. Their was a nearby gas station/store that did help me with this task. I have definitely been impressed with this library, the choices and environment. The movie selections for all ages are very impressive. The members of this community definitely should make use of this wonderful facility and all it has to offer, if they have not already.

Let's just say I learned a lot during that overheard conversation.... Fast WiFi, great selection of books and good spaces to work, but let's hope you don't need a consistently quiet space. As part of the Georgia PINES library system, you can have books brought in from other locations which is a great perk. :-/

There's a huge selection of books, lots of intentional book displays, fun seating and areas for storytime & computers. SHOUTOUT to Irene, the wonderful children's librarian who answered all my questions about the library & about being new to the area. I wandered around the rest of the library before leaving. It's very large! There's a plethora of spaces for adults to sit and read or study. I look forward to returning!

This small library is beautiful. There are only a small selection of books, public computers and about five desks to use for study, but I've found it to be quiet and suitable for me. WHERE'S THE RESPECT?…read more I love libraries but more than anything I really respect libraries so I was absolutely shocked when I first saw this library and how neglected it is. The outside is a very dated structure and it was absolutely filthy! What an embarrassment to the community. This is their main library with "Headquarters" clearly printed on the sign. I was at a loss for words because I just believe that public buildings should be maintained in a respectable condition, (grounds included). Obviously we have great libraries in North Fulton County so we ended up at this library for a very specific reason. My husband who does genealogy needed a specific book that could only be located here and in Knoxville. Since this location is closer, we came here. In order to have access to books here, you will need a PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) card which provides access to 284 libraries, in 53 library systems covering 143 counties (53 of the 63 library systems in Georgia). Materials can be delivered to your home library free of charge and alll residents of Georgia are eligible for this card. My husband needed to get a Clayton County library card in order to get the PINES card (which was a relatively easy process, all you need is a photo ID), and was then able to make the necessary copies he needed. This was a very busy library. I was surprised at the number of people actually using the library today, especially with the beautiful weather we are having. The library is a large open structure that has everything located on the main level. They did not appear to have study rooms or private enclosed areas, (even the bathrooms had disturbing signs and outside locks). It was definitely a different experience and one that made me appreciate my home library even more. * The staff member who assisted us today was top-notch and very much appreciated. ***The real annoyance occurred when my husband discovered that the rare book that he needed had been intentionally damaged. The entire first chapter had been removed. It was a very smooth process as if someone had used an X-acto knife. SMH!
