Recently my husband needed an implant, we had other opinions and were told that they could do it…read more Dr. Dalal recommended he have a 3DCT because he explained that the the panorex doesn't alsways show everything correctly and on the current pano it looked like it could be done but he wanted to make sure. However the 3DCT showed that only a 6 mm implant could possibly be done but Dr. Dalal explained that this was on a 2nd molar and 6 mm would not be recommended with my husbands grinding and strong bite, he said it would not last very long due to this. The 3DCT showed that the mandibular nerve was in such a placement that any other size implant would be impossible as it would surely hit the nerve and then could cause paralysis of his lower jaw. I'm glad he pushed for further test as I can't even imagine if someone tried to place an implant without doing the CT. Dr. Dalal took his time explaining everything in great detail which we are very grateful for. Disappointing that he can't get a tooth put in where he lost one but super glad that we came for a 3rd opinion, in the end it just wasn't worth the possible trauma of his jaw and we are very grateful to Dr. Dalal.

So someone referred me to Dr Hernandez for braces that were almost half the price of the Invisalign process. Plus Dr Hernandez told me my treatment plan would only be a little over a year. I'm so happy about the customer service with Dr. Hernandez and her staff. They are all extremely friendly. The front desk staff is like your girlfriend sister chica who keep everything real while making sure you have your appointments, your treatment plan, your payment plan, your taking care of yourself etc etc etc before you walk out of the door lol. The only thing is that orthodontic treatment times are limited. For example, if you have to cancel your monthly braces adjustment, you may end up not seeing the doctor for 2 months because they're only there a few times a month she is there. If you pop your brackets like I regularly do (the glue cement does not affix well to crowns), you can pretty much forget just going in and getting it glued back on right away. I've been lucky a couple times to catch an orthodontic assistant or snag a rare appointment with the orthodontist to get a wire snip or a bracket glued..........an orthodontic assistant can snip your wire if it's sticking into your jaw, but only the orthodontist can glue a bracket back in the proper place. I am happy to say that they do go all out to make sure you get in so I really have not ever gone too long without being seen. Over all, so far so good.

I said this is getting out of hand, I will be by to get my money back. Hours later and many texts... I received a note saying my 11k was spent and they will not refund my money. All they did was waste my time and scamming out of my entire savings. Oh and that "FREE" 5 minute scan apparently just cost me the 11k. Guys, trust me!!!! I called Cherry Technologies to inquire how to remove the services that weren't rendered and was told that "maybe" the dental lounge would credit me something back. I knew that would never happen. I am very dissatisfied and angry with the Dental Lounge because I feel like I was lied to and now have to pay for something that I never received. It seems that the only way to get a decent smile is to have them remove all of your natural teeth and replace them with permanent implants. Lesson learned!

Additionally, they never called to inform me when my Invisalign arrived as I was under the impression that they would call me. I had to follow up myself to check on the status and it had arrived and I was never made aware. Dr. Sierra is really friendly and a great doctor! But the lack of organization and communication of the front office staff makes it really frustrating as a patient.
