My most recent garden problem was finding a nicely shredded mulch that didn't leave behind big chunks at the end of each growing season. Lavocat's to the rescue! They have a wonderful hardwood fine-shredded mulch that's just perfect. If you're like me, and have a smaller garden - bagged mulch is what we need - whole truck loads just don't work. Instead of a helpful or informative response, I was met with a dismissive tone and a lack of willingness to engage in the conversation. I completely understand that businesses may not want to share sourcing details, but the way it was communicated came across as unnecessarily guarded and unwelcoming. As a customer who is genuinely interested in plants and learning more, I expected a more respectful and informative interaction. There is a big difference between setting boundaries and making customers feel shut down. Unfortunately, this experience felt more like the latter. I hope this is something that can be improved, because customer interaction matters just as much as the products being sold.

I did think the regular prices on the gallon pots were a bit steep but otherwise very happy with the price of everything. They have an enormous selection of both annuals and perennials so it's easy to find what you're looking for.
