Not cheap, and they don't sell detergent. $4 for a wash of about 35 minutes, then $2 for every 8 minutes of drying, a small, quick-drying load needs at least $6 they say, and a heavier load with jeans and towels needs at least $8, they say, or 32 minutes. They don't sell detergent, although we bought a scoop from someone unofficially. There are a bunch of travel brochures and such. It's right by the entrance to the interislander ferry terminal for foot passengers, and about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Bluebridge passenger terminal. It's a short walk from bakkerij bakery. There is no restroom, although there are various buildings around with them, including the ferry terminals and a museum. There's plenty of street parking right outside, 60 minutes mostly, with a 10-minute zone right in front of the laundry. $12 to do a load, plus detergent, just seems excessive. But if you have to do laundry and miss the ferry and have to wait for a later one, it's an okay way to make lemonade. read more
