My daughter has a ton of hair and two women worked on it, to comb the length out and then one gave it a great trim and blow dry, plus straightening. My other daughter needed to have her home done bang job fixed and I got a cut and blow dry as well. Our hair looked gorgeous when we left, the girls who did our hair were very nice and we only paid about 100 euros for all three so we were very happy at that. She was young, friendly, and chatty. The wash/cut/blow-dry was a whopping 112 CHF. There was no price list visible and I didn't think to ask before the cut what the price would be. Had I done so, then I would have arrived armed with more cash. Hahaha, I naively thought that 100 franks would cover it. Oh, silly me! I told the hairstylist that I needed to actually go home and retrieve more dough. I offered my wallet as collateral. She told me not to worry and instead asked for two more franks. At 102 CHF, I got the student discount. The students here must be rolling in the yenom! Step In is: good service, super costly!

Pos does not overcharge (so tip him well) and he is mobile! He can come to you in Zurich, Zug, and surrounding areas. He is up on the recent trends and will tell you when a photo you bring won't match your hair. He speaks English and Swiss German and I go to his salon, but he also will travel to you, he has a mobile business as well. It is nice to have someone listen to your requests and have a nice chat in English. He has worked with my budget and will get my hair looking healthy again and I love his online booking system. This is a new business that only opened last month. I saw a Groupon for only CHF 29 instead of 117…read morefor a wash, cut, blow-dry, head massage, and glass of prosecco, so I decided to give it a try. They're only open Mon-Fri, but I got a 6:30 pm appointment for Friday. It's a really small salon with only 2 stations and the lady there only speaks German, so I had to drag my bf along to translate. There was a nice little seating area with a plush chair for him to wait. A huge flat-screen tv on the wall was playing How to Lose a Guy in 7 Days, so that was fun to watch out of the corner of my eye during my haircut. :) Other than a little water dripping onto my ears during the hair wash, everything else was fairly good service. I got a trim with some layers and side-swept bangs. When I asked for my bangs to be a bit shorter so they wouldn't be in my eyes, the hairdresser said that going too short would be "nicht so sexy", so she didn't trim off that much. ;)
