Robert met us as we neared the entrance and guided us to a site. There are some shaded and partially shaded sites. Wi-fi is available and full hook-ups. Perfect for self-contained rigs. (there is no on-site bath house or restrooms) We were so impressed by the level of customer service Robert provided- even down to a great dinner recommendation (Woody's on Main st.). We had planned on staying 2 days so we could golf at his adjacent 9 hole course, which is immaculately maintained and just beautiful-Lots of trees and some water features. The course was perfect for me as a beginner golfer and yet challenged even my more advanced golfer husband. Robert offered to show us around what used to be his grandfathers homestead land which his brother and sister all have RV campgrounds on in the area. All 3 campgrounds are beautifully maintained and you would not go wrong with any of them. But Robert really added a touch of hospitality. We will definitely can't wait to come back.

Really, it was 90 degrees today and you couldn't stop at the Quick Mart and pick up a couple bags of ice ???!!!! I normally love the course but today the bunkers had lots of weeds growing in them and had not been rakes in weeks at least. The fairways had not been cut in at least a week . They have a couple of blind holes which are OK but there are NO MAPS of the holes on the scorecard. It's too bad because we really like the course but the lack of recent maintenance and management really show.

As someone who has been a weekly golfer at Stoneridge for over 6 months, I will leave my review…read morebased in practice facilities, course setup and environment. Stoneridge practice facility includes 1 practice green and 1 driving range. The practice green allows putting and chipping. It's a 60 feet long green that allows for several different types of strokes, from short putts to long putts and chips up to 20 yards around the greens. I noticed that the cup positions have not changed since I first practiced there months ago. The driving range allows for shots up to 200 yards meaning some players might be restricted to hit some of the longer clubs. The grass is usually cut to a 2nd rough cut. The range balls are mostly old and used to a degree that the ball flight is negatively affected. The 18 hole course is a par 70 with 6590 yards from the blue tees. It's a setup that calls for a variety of tee shots and a lot of lay ups for the great amount of trees and hazards. The grass is usually in fast conditions, specially the greens and fairways. Players should expect small greens that really require a sharp iron play. The environment is sad, it feels like an abandoned place sometimes. The course is empty most of the time. The club house is often closed and there is no golf shop. There is only a few items for sale in the front desk. The staff certainly could make it more professional and welcoming. I recommend Stonerigde to every golfer around central Kansas who is looking for an 18 hole round, I believe that for the 28 dollars it offers a good golf experience. I don't recommend Stoneridge for golfers that are looking for a place to practice as I believe the practice facility doesn't have what it takes to help with any parts of the game.

We had booked this for a wedding reception venue 6 months prior to date. They were to cook our food…read morewhich was a required part of booking with them. No catering was allowed. All was great. 5 days prior to our event I received a call they fired the chef. Which was the only one they had working in the kitchen. We actually knew the chef personally and he informed us of what happened. The venue told me to consider a catering service. And as things happened and not stressing we found a catering service short notice. We then got a call saying they apparently had a chef and the food was already ordered and was to be cooked still for us and it was all a misunderstanding. OKAY, so after a long discussion, the owner reassured us all will be cooked and asked us to cancel our catering. So I did. Then I get another call saying the Indeed had no chef to cook the food. They then asked where we had previous ordered the catering, so I told them, they told me they would take care of it and had already called and set it all up. They then proceeded to bill my family the full price as if they had cooked the meal them self When I know the price of the catering was almost half the cost of that. We met and beyond the alcohol minimum they had requested, even though the dropped that our of their inconvenience. We repeatedly asked for a contract since day 1 and the only answer we ever got was "we don't have one made up". The party was a success and fun, but the crazy horse in Hutchinson Kansas is a terribly owned by a very arrogant man and horribly managed by staff. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone EVER.

Very flat as well, probably an easy course to walk. I would play again. If you haven't played the course before a few holes are hard to find, but i just asked a few fellow golfers and they were friendly and pointed me in the right direction.
