My 100 yr-old house had a basement created some 70 yrs ago by digging up dirt below the foundation, exposing footers. Poor quality stucco was all that sustained the basement walls from caving inwards due lack of waterproofing, which left the house floor completely uneven with alarming cracks along the house's interior walls. Seiber resolved all the necessary structural work needed to prevent the wall from caving into the basement, waterproofed, and applied incredibly solid support systems underneath crawl spaces that previously had nothing supporting. I highly recommend Seiber. The stone chimney on my mother's 60-year-old house was leaking even after a full roof replacement---by another contractor. I contacted Rich Seiber and Roger was out the next day to inspect. Quote and contract arrived same afternoon. Work commenced three days later and was completed in two days. Though I initially felt quote was high, a comparison to another contractor showed it was competitive. They repointed all mortar, formed and poured new concrete crown, waterproofed entire chimney and inspected existing roof flashing. Foreman, Mark and workers were courteous and informed my mother of all details of work. They thoroughly cleaned all areas before leaving. Heavy rains have occurred since project and no leaks. In the very beginning of the process, they worked with us to evaluate the work we needed on the brick foundation of our 1905 Victorian cottage in order to stay within our budget. Work included rebuilding a good portion of our rear foundation and repointing of the remaining foundation of the house. After seeing several reviews for waterproofing companies in the area, I decided to go with Seiber (due to the reviews and the fact that they are a Vetern owned small business) to fix some water issues that I was having with my foundation. They showed up on time and water proofed my foundation for a reasonable price. There was a small issue with the final grading but once notified of the issue they showed back up and went overboard. Roger was top notch and treated my house as if it was his own which went a long way especially knowing that He treated me as he would like to be treated especially as a brother in Jesus.
