A segway tour is a great way to quickly see the major historical sites in a city while learning more about that city and it's past. Segway Brno was no exception.
Our tour guide, Kristoff, was informative and provided rich details regarding the quirky history of beautiful Brno.
Our 3.3 mile tour included stops at St Jacob's church where we saw the cherub statue high on the exterior of the church, mooning a rival church with his bare bottom (!); as well as the Old Town Hall which includes the work of a contractor who fashioned a sculpture and purposefully bent a key piece of it to protest the lack of payment for his work. We also saw the dragon of Brno and the Špilberk Castle where we enjoyed a wonderful view of the city. The castle was recently closed to segways so you won't be able to see inside with a segway tour, but, the segway will definitely save you a lot of uphill walking to reach the castle.
You can request a tour in English, which we did, and our guide Kristoff did a great job with English despite it not being his native language.
Overall, a high 4 stars easily rounded up to 5. Well worth it. read more
