After several months, I…read morediscovered I had been charged $29.95 a month for seven months (on my credit card) for a newsletter service that supposedly went with the free book. The only contact given was a website address. From researching reviews of the book on Amazon.com, I discovered the agency behind the promotions was National Marketing Resources out of Kearney, of which DataSource is connected. Even though I had never ordered the subscriptions and also I never received them, the company only agreed to credit three months of $29.95 and not the seven. My point is the free book offer is a bait and switch advertising ploy, Since I did not fall for that, it became a right-out scam in my case. The FTC says beware of offers that do not include a company's name and address. By the way, the book has many unfavorable reviews on Amazon, and many others see it in the same light as I do. Check it out.
