I do quite adore these foreshore parks, and this one is really no exception. Well, it probably…read moreisn't one of the best that I have seen, though since Ballina is actually on a river as opposed to the ocean, then this is more of a riverside park than a foreshore park. The other thing is that since it is behind the main street you really only get the back on the shops, though there are a couple of cafes and restaurants here.

Yeah, this particular one actually is part of a larger theme park, and of course the theme happens to be Bananas. Mind you, I really wasn't all that keen in wasting my time by spending more time here than I really had to.

But during my visit, all we did was take a few photos, go to the gift shop, and visit their cafe... I felt like I couldn't go here without having something with banana in it. So two of us split a banana milkshake, it was good, and not overpriced. I wish I would've gotten on of their "famous" chocolate covered bananas. It looks like a nice place for breakfast actually, the menu was pretty decent. Personally, I thought that the banana would be bigger. But for touristy purposes, I thought overall that it was a cute place and done well. It's located right on the road coming into Coffs Harbour, you can't miss it.
