The bank employees are very cold and unwelcoming, and the teller had something in her ear, and…read moretalking before and after my transaction.
She acted as if I was disturbing her. I had never been in that bank before and will never go again. It is the sister bank to the bank I use in Charleston, the customer service person, and the teller cannot spell Bayer Heritage, both had to ask me, and when I requested some of my money out of my account, the teller took my ID, and told me to wait. With no explanation, she got up and went into the back, when she returned, she advised me in a very short way, that I could not get the amount I was asking for, but only $1000, when I asked why she stated, " that is all you can get from here, you are not a member of this bank." When I requested my ID back, I also requested the piece of paper she had written my account number on, she stated " I cant do that it has other peoples information on it. I requested she please destroy it, she stated " sure, I will do that right now".
I called Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, and spoke to the customer service person, she is now and always has been very helpful, she stated she was sorry for the way I was treated, the attitude of the people in the bank, and the fact I did not feel my accounts were safe due to the fact the teller was talking to someone on what appeared to be Bluetooth . The customer service person will monitor my account, and I will also until I can close out all my accounts at the bank that has been so wonderful and helpful for so many years. All because the bank I would have to bank with here in Claritin County has left a very unsavory and insecure feeling.
I know nothing will come of this, but be warned, do not go to SAFE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION.
