Then a month after I got that loan they called me and ran a credit check as offered me a 10,000 loan if I wanted it. Which I did not at the time. Then I paid off the 1600.00 loan in three months 9 months early. So today I called and asked to apply for a 3,000 dollar loan to buy a second car and to use the money for repairs to get it road worthy. And they denied me saying that I had a past bankruptcy which was is 1999 and way over the twelve year ding. And that they would not reverse their decision. So my advise stay away from Lendmark or at least the Gainesville Georgia office. So now I have a inquiry on my credit report which doesn't show anything derogatory as I just went on credit karma and Equifax and fico. Which were all in line and equal. I honestly don't understand why if they have had good past results from lending me money before. Nothing has changed except I now own a house and all my payments for the past 20 years have been on time and I make more money now than when I got the original loan. Something is going on in that office or the people who are making the decisions. You have all been warned. Good Luck

My company is involved deeply with 3 of the branches, Thompson Bridge here in Gainesville and the downtown branch in Gainesville and the western side of Athens Branch. None of them answer their phones any more. My company makes around $24,000.00 dollars in deposits at the Athens branch weekly which has OFTEN (4 Times in the last six months) put holds on deposits we made (when they have an ongoing arrangement where they know we are being paid by 5 star companies and that the checks we deposit are good) WITHOUT letting us know that they were placing the hold. Tellers simply are not trained well at the Athens branch. When confronted the manager there was defensive claiming she knew nothing about it. No communication between her and her assistant about the issue regarding multiple previous issues. I care very much for the crew at downtown Gainesville but again, no phone calls I make are answered on their general info line. The most recent issue however is simply unconscionable. I use the ACH-I Treasury system which is by no means cheap in service fees to pay 25 Contractors per week who in turn pay about 50 other people in their employ. Two days ago (Wednesday of this week) I got on the I Treasury system provided by Regions corporate and found the system to be non-functional. I called I Treasury help with Regions and was told that the US government computers were down, that rather than wait a day for the I Treasury to make the deposit if I would call in Thursday they could make the deposit into my contractors accounts the same day. Further, I was assured that the glitch with the Federal system would be solved the next morning. I double checked with the agent I spoke to Wednesday that: The treasury department would have the glitch solved the next morning. The deposit would be made immediately into my contractor's accounts. Being later in payment than Thursday can mean that my contractors will not go into work Thursday night. I could likely loose the company I have built for 40 years. Thursday morning I was told by the Regions ITreasury rep that everything I was told on Wednesday was a lie. It was, in fact Regions computer system that was down. It was still down. I WOULD have to wait another day IF they got the system running which was not looking doable. I began driving all over the state of Georgia meeting my contractors at various Regions banks with a check and making sure that each bank would cash it. 5 of the 25 people I owed money to got paid after 7 hours of driving. Late that day after receiving multiple apologetic letters from Regions I called the ITreasury line again. In one of the apology letters Regions promised that their wire transfers would be available to assist their customers in getting money to customers vendors. Since wire transfers have always been available at the branches I assumed they were saying that there would be no fee associated with the transfer. In a protracted conversation with the Regions CSR I mentioned that one of the letters I received stated that I could get Wire transfers without a service fee. Suddenly my CSR became cold. When I asked for a name of someone in her department who I could mention to my local branch manager in order to get her to make the wire transfer without charging fees to my account she said: "I will need you to send a copy of that letter you got saying that wire transfers are free to show my boss if you want that service for free sir. Here is my email address. Your case number is 361278. "I said: "Wait a minute let me reread this email (I had just received it). Ok! You've got me there. It does not say they are free. It apologizes multiple times and mentions that these services will be available. Since they are always available (and I had spent 2 solid days on my computer and driving over 300 miles to get my contractors paid) I thought you were mentioning it in the letter to make up for the ridiculous mess your company has created." "I'll need that letter sir." My quotations here may not be verbatim. You can get the gist of just how stuck up, poorly trained and unprofessional this bank has become.
