I am a homeowner who contracted with Asher House Leasing to provide property management services…read morefor a small two-bedroom, one-bath home I own in Wichita. I discontinued services in less than six months due to ongoing performance and administrative issues. During that period, I did not receive a single monthly statement on time, and every statement contained accounting errors. After terminating the contract, the company was unable to locate their set of the house keys, and they redirected me to get them from the tenant. When I spoke directly with the tenant, I also discovered that certain services billed by Asher House--such as pre-cleaning the property--had not been performed. Additionally, almost two months after their services were discontinued, Asher House issued an eviction notice to the tenant requiring them to vacate the property within three days. When contacted, the company acknowledged that the notice was sent in error; however, the incident caused significant distress for the tenant. I would advise against any property owner using Asher House Leasing. There are several other options in the area. Also, current customers of Asher House may want to carefully review their statements and request external verification confirming that billed services were completed.
