I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Wichita area. I decided to sell my first home in late 2014. It was in good condition, but not very marketable; it was only 800 square feet and in a poor neighborhood. When we did get an offer, the buyers were difficult to deal with. Their financing fell through a couple times, and they weren't very easy to work with during negotiations. I really appreciate Megan doing the go-between with the buyers. I would have lost my cool. When we finally reached an agreement, I had difficulty with the appraisal due to some siding on the detached garage. Megan and Greg Feuerborn both came out, on a freezing, drizzly winter day, to assist me with replacing the siding and painting to match. I felt at that moment that I had definitely chosen the best agents. How many agents will take time out of their day to help their sellers make exterior repairs in the dead of winter?! A year later my boyfriend and I decided to purchase a house together. I told him we had to use the Feuerborn Team; I knew they would be communicative and helpful and do everything they could to help us find and purchase the right home. We had absolutely NO idea what we wanted when we started looking. But Megan was amazing, sending us all kinds of listings. We ended up looking at 25 or 30 houses in a four or five week period. Everything from historical colonials, to new constructions, to established ranch homes. When we'd visit a house, Megan would ask a lot of questions and try to draw out exactly what we were looking for. We finally found this amazing one owner home in North Wichita. Unfortunately, we ran into negotiation problems again. The owners had custom built this home and were very proud of it; it was difficult to come to an agreement on selling price and needed repairs. Megan to the rescue again! She is so diplomatic! She spent a lot of time going back and forth between the sellers and us until we reached an agreement. I feel like both parties got an excellent and fair deal. I know this is an overly long review, but I just cannot say enough good things about the Feuerborn Team. I hope I don't move again anytime soon, but if I do, I would definitely give Megan and Greg a call. They are very responsive, polite, and trustworthy. They go out of their way to help find the right home and handle any issues that arise during a sale. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Wichita area. You won't be sorry. Oh! And I believe they do special work with military and law enforcement, so if that happens to be you, definitely give them a call and see what they can do for you.

I found Jared to be easy to work with and his response time to our questions/concerns very quick. In the past we have had experiences where we felt like we were not a priority for our realtor. That was very frustrating . This was absolutely not the case with Jared Viernes. He made time for us and answered our questions in a prompt and efficient manner. We appreciate the time, effort and research that Jared Viernes put into the search and negotiation for our new home. We love our home and could not have asked for a more perfect fit for us. If you are looking for a realtor that is going to invest the time and care to place you in the perfect home, the attentiveness to respond promptly to your concerns whether text, call or email then you must work with Jared with Sunflower Real Estate. For whichever reason we'd have one that wasn't accepting, and he'd come right back with more properties to look at (a bigger task than it sounds given my specificity of property). Finally found one that worked out (after it being listed for like an hour) and we got that one. Even after closing he's still helping me out on it: I'm not in the area and someone needs to be there to let the termite guy do his thing so he volunteered to be there. he goes above and beyond and I'm going to be rewarding his dedication by working exclusively with him on future rental properties to add to my portfolio.

Many years ago, I had a real estate experience so devastating that I really never fully recovered,…read moreand definitely never forgot. So I was shocked to see that Mary Lynn Priest was still in the real estate business in Wichita. I was young at the time, and this was my first house so I didn't know that what would be considered illegal and unethical. She's looking out for her best interests and her commission is #1 in the transaction. This was a real estate transaction beyond awful. It was life-changing. I hired her as my real estate agent, but was letting the listing expire so I could hire a different agent. She appeared at my home at 1:30 in the morning on the day of expiration threatening me to re-sign which out of fear from her threats, I did. It was terrifying. When the papers were being signed on the eventual sale, she sat in another room with the buyers. I lost everything. I will never forget Mary Lynn Priest, but not in a positive way.

I dealt with Yvonne at Faith Realty on a property in Parsons, Kansas and spoke to her at length…read moreabout the property and she answered many questions about the property and then I told her I would make an offer if I could see more photos. She then told me "If you would like, I can go and take more photos tomorrow and send them to you." I told her that I would love that. Then, the next day she texted me the SAME photos on a Zillow listing of the property that we had talked about the previous day. So, I called her and told her that I thought she was going to the property today and taking more photos of the home and sending them to me, to which she replied: " I am going over there Friday and showing the property and I will take some photos then." Well, Friday is several days away and it was obvious that she was interested in dealing with another buyer and was putting me on the back-burner because I was anticipating photos today that I am now not going to get. I was going to pay a great price in cash for the property, but who knows what this new potential buyer was offering her. All that I know is that she lied to me and is not to be trusted. You should be careful when dealing with her because a lot of money is at stake when buying a home and if you cannot trust the word of the realtor that you are dealing with, then you do not know what could happen in an important transaction where your money is at stake. This has been my honest experience in dealing with Yvonne and I am a Christian who does not LIE.

Told us the work could probably be done before we moved in August 1. Heard back that it would be Aug. 13-14. OK, fine but feel like the August 1 proposal was just to get us to sign. Crew arrived August 13 to begin work. Beware, if your basement needs to be jack hammered, get some earplugs or vacate the home for the day. However, someone needs to be there while they work. On arrival and initial review of the work with the crew, they asked about the electrical. Where would the sump pumps be plugged in. This was NEVER discussed by the Project Manager, Jake. We just figured it was factored into the project. It's not!! Turns out that's on you. Major overlook by the PM. We refused to pay for this. They agreed. We should have been informed from the outset and a month later, we are still waiting for an electrician to do the work. Also, one of the sump pumps is STILL not operational. Thrasher has failed to provide a check valve that is needed. Got a visit from Jake's manager, Corey, with supposed needed part and we voiced our concerns about all the delays. Turns out Corey brought the wrong part and we're still waiting as of Sept. 9. The outside work was done by a local plumbing company. They did a great job. The outside plumbing work was not done until a week and a half after the crew finished the basement. Poor coordination. The PM had over a month to schedule this done in coordination with the work. Be prepared to have anything on the walls of any area waterproofed totally ripped. Shelves, paneling, doorways. This was not explained adequately. The crew did a good job on the floor but left much of the work unfinished. Ceiling panels hanging, ripped out door frame and door not replaced. Maybe this is how they work, but that was not explained adequately. A set of JBL earbuds went missing after the work. Asked the company to check with the crew. It took weeks to hear back. It turns out one of the crew had taken them, supposedly thinking the buds were is. He claims he owns a similar pair. The buds were in a storage cup on an elliptical but we gave him the benefit of the doubt. If you have Thrasher do work for you. Be sure and get ALL the details. They leave out so many things. You need to eliminate as many surprises as possible. But you shouldn't have to.
