Oh…read morewait Patriot Storage answered with an upbeat attitude ready to take care of a potential client. Not only were the prices the best but two rings and someone picks up. I got to the unit around 9pm at night and the code I had didn't work so I thought I was out of luck, but wait 3 rings and they picked up making sure I had 24hr access like they promised. Super helpful and courteous and would definitely recommend them. I had to drop of the U-haul trailer about 3 miles away and no one ever picked up. U-haul luckily was able to provide a different drop off point. Overall great experience with Patriot Storage.

I had a unit with the Extra Space Storage on 108 Skateway Dr. in Fayetteville, NC. I didn't have…read moreany issues before but after I got robbed from unit I no longer use them and wouldn't advise anyone to use them. To give some context, I had my unit for over a year and had went by there to put a few things inside it. I had things from mychildhood and collectibles that were irreplaceable. I didn't secure the lock on my unit and I was notified but I live an hr outside of Fayetteville. I got to my unit a few days later and saw that it had been robbed. At least $3000 worth of things were taken. I called the police and did the necessary steps to report it. I filed a claim and was told because the unit was not 'forcefully' broken into there was nothing they would reimburse me for. Therefore I could not get paid back for anything that was stolen. I moved my remaining belongings out soon after that. I have been in contact with the detective over my case and he informed that this has happened 15 separate times at that same faculty. He had advised that I moved my things out (to which I already had) and that no one should use that faculty at all. This is in contrast to the manager I spoke with the day I discovered my things were gone, she said that this almost never happens. I am sharing this to let others know and to hopefully prevent anyone from having to go through this. DO NOT use the Extra Space Storage on 108 Skateway Dr, Fayetteville NC. They have allowed 16 people to get robbed out of their units and their company will not reimburse you for the things you held dear being taken from a place where there is supposed to be secure. On top of that, they raise the rates higher every other month, my bill started at $87 then was raised to $158 before being lowered to $123 then being raised again (after my things were stolen) to $166. Please be mindful of the place you chose to use and don't use them.

With that being said AFS has still showed me more kindness and understanding then any company ever has. I only hope that all businesses take lessons on how to treat thier customers from American Flag Storage of Fayetteville NC. I being almost 50 have delt with storage companies all over NC and from my prior experience I always hated having to do so. I have lost my dead grandmother's belongings and my children's school photos due to not having the money to make a storage payment on time. If only then, I had rented from AFS I would still have those priceless posesions. Honestly, I am not one to ever take the time to leave a customer company review. I today have found myself leaving reviews for AFS on this yelp as well as FB and with the BBB. I promise everyone I would not be doing so, if I was not sincere. So if ever you need some extra storage space do yourself a favor and call American Flag Storage and let them show you that there really is still great customer service in our community today.
