I went in to see Jessica with dark brown, almost black permanent dyed hair that I had been coloring every 4 weeks for 2+ years. In one appointment she stripped the dark color out and got me to this gorgeous, dimensional red and preserved the health of my hair with her skill and high quality products. She also nailed the lightly layered cut I requested and gave me a gorgeous blow dry that lasted through almost a week of rainy weather! She was so kind and attentive, I'd absolutely recommend going to see her for any service you want to get done from large color transformations & vivid color projects to a simple trim & a blow out. This review is LONG OVERDUE! but to my curly/ wavey headed girlies Erika has to be your go to stylist! the attention to detail and the way she goes about informing you as you go throughout the service is always incredible. she's a stylist that always listens to what we have to say about and how I'd like to improve my hair care/routine! I am writing this review to explain the unprofessionalism of the new owner. I have been coming to this salon for years now and I hate to say this is my last visit. The owner very rudely asked me to take a seat while i waited for my stylist to return from the bathroom. Made me feel like i was in the way, when i was waiting in front of her chair... She made me feel very uncomfortable when she asked me personal questions and was constantly staring me down. A side note that the stylists themselves are extremely nice, hardworking and do a great service. However, the salon itself is lacking in areas since the new owners arrival. When I found out that my friends daughter Christine worked here I originally brought my daughter here for a cut and color. And when I saw her results I was sold. Shout out to Michelle!! So I had a major hair emergency! After going to another salon to get my k tips hair extensions removed (done not properly) I was left with a matted and clumpy mess. My hair was destoyed at a salon that was supposed to be " one of the best" in Orange County. $300 later my hair was bleached over processed and my nice long blond hair turned into a bozo look alike. I went to see Taylor about possibly lightening up my ombre/balayage. I had my hair treated a year ago and although I liked the overall look, I had to admit my hair was still brassy. I went from completely dark/black hair to very light so that was bound to happen. She was confident that she could help me achieve lighter ends but not damage the hair too much. I was afraid that putting more bleach could possibly cause more damage but she told me she puts something in the bleach to try to help counteract that. I was happy to hear that! On the day of my hair appt, I went in and felt really relaxed and happy about being worked on with Taylor. She's a sweet young woman and she did a super good job on my hair. The ends were a light lighter and days later I didn't seen the brass coming in even after my trip to Hawaii when I was in pools everyday! It was a splurge for me to get my hair done since I only go 1-2 times a year but I definitely felt it was worth it! My appt was at 2 and I left at 6(last person) so it was a length process!! The salon itself is cute and located next to my favorite eyebrow threading place off of Alicia. In fact that is how I noticed the salon one day after I got my eyebrows threaded, I look around and though hmm... Maybe I could get my hair done here too! read more
