I, for one, am a sucker for a good bookstore. It was one of my favorite places to go with my father when I was a boy. Second Edition was just perfect. The staff was absolutely lovely and helped me with some pretty random requests. There was QUITE the selection and my wife and I were very impressed by the knowledge of the staff and it just felt warm. Thanks to all. We'll be returning. read more

What a pleasant, spacious store to browse with helpful but non intrusive staff. The books are well organized and curated. But that's not the best part. It's Anne, the owner. My mom accidentally left her wallet on the counter after paying. Anne called her right away, but we didn't hear the call before leaving Butte. My mother realized that she was missing the wallet and after listening to the voice message, contacted Anne the next morning. Anne graciously put it in priority mail that day and it arrived 2 days later. That's service and kindness. I'd definitely return again. Book people are some of the best. read more

Where to begin?! This place is incredible! It has every kind of book you could imagine, even some very, very cool vintage books. HUGE selection of books. One of the cleanest and most organized used book stores I have ever seen. Also has some local tourist info about Butte and surrounding area too. read more

Claims to be the best used bookstore in Montana. I'd give that prize to Montana Valley Books in Alberton, but this is still a very nice place worth your while. Big open plan, specializes in children's books and local history, not just of Montana. I found a rare old book of California local history that I'd never even heard of at home. read more

This place has such a good vibe, and an extensive selection with great prices. You can't come here looking for a particular book since it's a used bookstore... you just have to browse and you will find some treasures. read more

This bookstore is amazing. Huge selection, even things I couldn't find in the public library. The lady working was friendly, but not overly "attached" and let me browse around in peace. The prices are great! There are spots throughout the store where you can sit and look through books. It's a great little treasure here in Butte. I will be a regular here :) read more

I stopped into this gem while on vacation and found a book my husband had given up hope of ever finding. Because it was large and in a slipcase, I asked to have it shipped. The book was beautifully packaged and arrived within a week. I can't say enough about this bookstore. Wish we had one like it back home. read more

I've shopped in used bookstores from coast to coast and this store really is as good as it gets! The spacious floorplan is nicely laid out and the books are well organized, with plenty of great lighting. The staff is both friendly and helpful.
