I was pleased to see moderate prices on everything from furniture and Fiestaware to glass dishware and vintage decor. Our visit was more on the "why not" side of things rather than looking for a particular item. I recommend popping your head in if working your way down the Madison strip. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed how organized the space was compared to some other thrifty/second-hand style shops.

There were some nice things in there, but the majority of the stuff was average or below average in quality. There was everything from nice furniture to cheap knickknacks. I love stores with vendor booths! This one was sitting near the Ohio river and is found in the…read morequaint town of Madison, Indiana. It was the first time that I stopped here although I have visited Madison many times. It was fun walking through the booths checking out the items everyone had. There were lots of antique booths as well as some booths that had new items so you will find a mix of goods here. I love costume jewelry and was able to find a couple of unique pieces to bring home, I also have been on the hunt for a mirror and I found it there as well. In one of the new booths I found a purse/clutch that I really liked and of course had to bring it home. Lastly I found an art booth toward the front of the store that carried new items and a few items that were not new like ephemera packs. In the art booth they had some silicone molds that I have a project in mind for and they had a basket of them marked down so I indulged there. The prices, like all booth type stores, are determined by the vendor so there is always good and bad. We got up to the counter to pay and there were two people there doing the checkout and they got us wrapped up quickly and out of there. I will definitely be stopping here again as the husband was with me and I just did not get to shop look enough!

I had been following Plant One…read moreOn Me on social media, mostly due to its great store in La Grange, so I was excited to see a second spot here. On the day we stopped in, they seemed a bit picked over, but what was there was still great to see. Plant One On Me has some great succulents, air plants and large leafy ferns, with some home pieces mixed in. If you or a loved one is big on plants, they have some funny items that play on this, like T-shirts that says, "If I die water my plants." I also liked how the store uses regular furniture to showcase plants, like a chest of drawers with plants coming out of its drawers. And a fun showstopper: the Plant One On Me selfie wall, with a faux (I think) living wall, neon and a couch. If you are looking for a fun experience while shopping for houseplants, this is definitely the place for you.
