We tried to clean it ourselves, but you know carpeting and red wine. Wasn't happening. The hotel was going to charge us a ridiculous amount of money. We called a few places and settled on Maine Carpet Cleaning because they quoted a very fair price and was able to dispatch one of their technicians that same day. When the technician arrived he was prompt, polite and professional. He worked quickly and best of all, completely restored the carpet! We don't live in the area, but to those who do, I highly recommend using their services. Some of the other companies I called seemed disreputable and unprofessional.
