Still, I have struggled with chronic physical and mental fatigue, malaise, brain fog and a number of other physical manifestations. For years, I have seen doctor after doctor - MDs and Naturopathic Doctors (NDs). I even sought out one of the best endocrinologists in the greater Seattle area and I continued to be told that my symptoms are normal for a 30 year old. The MDs referred me to tons of specialists who treated me for symptoms, but no one was looking at the underlying cause. I was referred to Dr. Elena from my ND for IV infusions to boost my immune system. I have a lot going on - hypothyroidism, hormone imbalances, persistently high Epstein-Barr lab values, low immune system lab values and more. Dr. Elena sat down with me for an hour through every IV infusion and asked about my history, how my treatment has been going and brainstormed ideas about how my treatment could be improved. I was truly feeling hopeless about my deteriorating health and body. Dr. Elena collaborated with my ND and other NDs regarding my treatment plan. I have felt so much more optimistic working with professionals that are sharing knowledge and expertise to help me improve. Dr. Elena is professional, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. My situation is complex, but I am starting to feel much better. I was kind of skeptical about the IV infusions helping me, but they really do make a huge difference. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Elena. If you have been searching for answers, Dr. Elena cares about finding out the root cause and working with you to improve your quality of life.

Dr. Cole is able to provide comprehensive care to treat the whole body, easing it back into balance in a healthy, less toxic way. For me, she offered naturopathic alternatives to traditional medicine to help me with my complicated and intertwining conditions (auto-immune, adrenal, hormonal, weight, and others). Dr. Cole always listens to me, provides scientific reasons for what I am experiencing, and works to provide a natural way to heal my body. She provides a wonderful mix of compassion, hard science (labs, results, etc.), and alternative healing methods/medicines. Recently, I particularly appreciate her additional services around genetic testing; providing a deeper analysis of DNA genetic results, which indicated genetic variations that can be the root cause of health issues. This allows us to make a plan to offset high risk areas.

She is definitely someone you need on your team! Last year I was very sick and having issues that had been slowly becoming worse. Everyone else I had seen didn't seem to know what was going on or dismissed my concerns. Dr. Jenna was the first person that actually sat down with me and said that: no, this feeling bad and getting sick all the time isn't ok and normal and we need to figure out how to get to the core issue. What a relief! Dr. Jenna truly listens to you and believes what you're telling her. She doesn't dismiss your concerns and if she doesn't know the answer... trust me - this is a woman who does her homework! She is always reading and learning and thinking about her patients in the background. There have been many times she has said, I was reading an article/listening to a webinar and it made me think of you and how we can approach your health. This is someone who truly cares about her patients and wants the best health for everyone she sees. You are never rushed when seeing Dr. Jenna and she is a truly warm and caring soul. I can't say enough nice things about her and the care I have received. I highly recommend Dr. Jenna to anyone wanting a competent and caring health care provider.

She is the first functional medicine doctor that I have seen and my experience so far have been very, very positive. While I've been interested in trying functional medicine for a while, it could seem a bit complicated in some ways and there are many directions and things one could try for various reasons. Thankfully, Dr. Leary-Chang is an exceptional communicator. She takes the time that is needed to clearly explain things, as well as being a careful (and empathetic) listener (I feel that she has a very clear understanding of my health situation and ANY key factors that could be playing a role). So, she talked with me to develop some priorities and sketch some realistic cost/benefit analyses for each plan of action. In other words, I felt informed but never pressured in the slightest to pursue any plan (for example, if I might be unsure about something, or something may not be financially comfortable/feasible at the time). Again, those types of factors are things she has taken into account when working with me. I wanted to wait until I had a few months on a stable regiment (and to have more time working with her and the clinic) before reviewing, and thankfully, everything has been positive so far. I have noticed clear positive changes in my health (visible and objective - i.e., not just that I 'feel' better, which I do, but I wanted some 'data' (as much as a single patient could note)) and I am looking forward to further progress. (I will update this review in a few months if anything changes that could be relevant.) Additional notes: * The nurses that I've encountered there have all been fantastic as well (friendly, smart and efficient). * Response times to messages sent in the e-portal have been great. * (I can't say anything about the other services Vida offers as I have only worked with Dr. Leary-Chang at this point.)
