Great place! No weird smells. Residents are very well taken care of. Employees will do whatever they can to help resolve any issues.

I went here after a broken hip last year for therapy, since then to be fair Pruitt took over so…read morethey may be a little better It was the worst experience ever, the medicine was making me thirsty and I couldn't get a glass of water with the staff ignoring my eventual begging, I went some like a week without a shower because no one had time for that, as they would tell me 100 times a day how they have 30 patients and they are the only one working I could never ever get my pain medicine, again because they had 30 patients and they were the only one working, the place was dirty and smelled horrible and at the end they were supposed to pick me up and deliver me a brand new wheelchair covered by my insurance, they totally blew that off, kept the brand new one and let me keep the pissed on one they loaned me, I honestly felt like this was a jail, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone

I cannot believe I'm the first to review this place…read more Having said that - if I'd written a review a month ago - it would have been 0 stars - but I'm glad I waited because now I've had more a chance to see the facility and experience the staff. The pros - - The administrative staff is great - Porscha, Jessica, Natalee, Sunshine and Jo Lucke have gone out of there way to address our concerns and make sure my Mother is treated like a valued resident. - The physical therapy team is fun and motivational - Drucy, Darrel and Paul do their best to keep my Mother on the right path to physical recovery. - The CNA's and nursing staff in the long term wing are pleasant and compassionate. At least most of them are - and its easy to steer clear of the one or two folks who act as though they hate their jobs. Lol. - Facility is clean and the meals are typically well-prepared and visually appealing (not sure about taste - lol). The cons - - The short term wing - needs a complete overhaul. The staff in this section seems to comprised primarily of young, unprofessional, easily irritated / impatient workers who got into nursing strictly because it's a consistent, dependable opportunity for a paycheck. There's a few good ones - but about 80% of the staff we encountered during her first stay here were rude, unprofessional and lacking basic empathy skills. - Large facility with lots of beds and for some reason, very little parking for folks visiting certain wings. - The staff can be a little inconsistent regarding the resident rules. - The staff can be a bit unprofessional and gossipy - which can be challenging. Overall, I think this place is awesome and would recommend it to anyone considering long-term care for their loved ones.
