My husband and I recently purchased our dream home which quickly turned into a nightmare. We took…read morepossession on a Thursday and were required to pick up the keys from the lawyers. We packed up an entire truck load and went to the new house (sold and represented by Andre Lill at Royal LePage), only to find out that the key we were provided doesn't open any of the doors. Once we finally got in through a keypad after calling Andre (who wouldn't take our call, would only refer the information to his receptionist), the remaining keys that were supposed to be left on the kitchen counter (for 3 other doors) were not there. The following day, Royal LePage got a hold of the key used for showings and refused to courier it to us or the lawyer and asked us to drive to come and get it ourselves. Following that, they refused to help us get the rest of the keys (which were required to be provided in the contract) or pay for a locksmith to change the locks. Not to mention the agent, Andre, will not return anyones calls. The Broker of Record also refused to further assist. I am absolutely blown away by the lack of professionalism of this brokerage. They literally take your money and run. They wouldn't even let us into the office to pick up the key, they made us wait outside.
