This is by far the nicest property in the Wildwoods, and it completely lives up to its name. I'm…read morenot sure how the developers managed to finagle the township to allow them to build such a grand monstrosity -- you can see The Grand all the way from Cape May -- but it most certainly is beautiful and very, very classy. I would almost dub it the South Beach or East Hamptons property of the Wildwoods, because it's going to cost you about the same amount to rent anything with an ocean view here. No expense was spared building The Grand. Every residence is palatial; Viking appliances, crown moulding in every room, beautiful hardwood floors, gorgeous decks and balconies -- it's probably nicer than your own home. They also have one of the only infinity pools I know of north of Florida, with the pool's eastern edge ending right where the ocean horizon begins. The developers also managed to purchase rights to the beach behind the property. You can now enjoy having their concierge service put out your chairs and umbrellas, take your stuff down to their private beach, and be served food and drink all day long via waiter service -- including alcohol. You may ask yourself, "how can they possibly serve alcohol on the beach in a dry town like Wildwood Crest?" Well, that's because The Grand sits just a few inches south of the Wildwood Crest border. It's technically in Diamond Beach. So let the good times flow, because those few inches make all the difference. The Grand is not without its few flaws. Most notably is the size of the pool. Compared to pools at other resorts of this size, it's tiny. And there's a limited number of chairs to lay out on. But that doesn't seem to be much of a problem because the beach is where the action is at. I personally cannot justify spending the kind of money that The Grand commands. I've dropped a lot of coin staying at similar places like Seapointe Village, Coastal Colors, and Ocean Towers, where your money will go a little further if you're on a budget. But if you have deep pockets and want to spend your money on the very best, do Wildwood in style and rent at The Grand.

No places to sit, beds horrendous etc. very disappointed in how it was advertised. The Grand itself was nice. The pool and beach service alone made it worth it. Ricky at customer service was helpful. Would never return to this particular unit.

I washed all the mattress pads and didn't use any blankets or bed spreads. Old and outdated bathroom, the lock on back sliding door was broken. The outside deck door was off its hinges and didn't close. Rusted inside the dishwasher. I hand washed all week. Tile flooring had cracks and holes in it. Couches in LR were disgusting and stained. Also the beach equipment was stored in a cubby hole outside and was all rusted and caked with dirt, unusable. Unit was supposed to be cleaned and ready to enter at 2 pm on Saturday but was not. Daniels Realty had to contact other cleaners to come and clean and we could not get in until 5 pm. Extremely disappointing and the photos are very misleading. JoAnn Nenow

I'm glad I waited till the end if the week to write this review because my stay overall was…read moreenjoyable but there were a number of issues that ended up getting straightened out by the end of the week. The Positives: - Nice and spacious unit with an updated kitchen. - Right on the beach (the walk to and from is very short) - huge balcony that my 18mo loved hanging out on - close to the Cape May Bridge so getting on n off the highway was simple - gated condo - the homeowner had all of our 'complaints' fixed immediately - they have a beach wagon with chairs in the laundry room - we used it every day we went to the beach... It was awesome - master bedroom had a very soft/comfy bed - water pressure in the hall bathroom is strong The Negatives and Issues: - the blinds in the 2 bedrooms off the main walkway were all jacked up so anyone walking by could see in... They were replaced within 3 days of complaining to the management company - the washer broke (I think it had a short in it)... by the end if the week someone came in to fix it) - my bedroom (the one with the twin beds) had a really hard mattress ... I'd recommend bringing your own bed liner cushion if you plan to stay in this room - the pans that we cook eggs with in the morning were really scratched up an gross (and not healthy to even eat off of)... So they realtor we booked this room with brought over new pots and pans... Very nice of her! Like I said before, most of these issues got straightened out... I did enjoy myself and so did the others in my group. We really appreciated the fact that the owner and management company did the best that they could to fix all of our complaints and issues. I woul absolutely stay here again. :)

Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025…read more My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

Horrible experience and we would not return…read more We booked two days in the middle of May for a little getaway. On the website it said that each tent had a king bed. There was absolutely no king bed. The bed frames are extremely loud and if you move your leg an inch, you're waking up the entire tent. The half bathroom is nice but there is no door, only a half size curtain. So everyone can smell and hear your business. The tents are directly next to a really busy road. Even at 2AM there were guys with shortpiped civics and trucks using their engine brakes for funsies. There's also a really loud purge tornado siren that goes off every once in a while, and there's also an airport right next door so you can enjoy the sweet sounds of an airplane directly into your ear drums at 3AM. Mind you, the tent has no walls. So it's a full 3D experience. So don't plan on actually sleeping, we didn't. Everything else was meh, but none of this was ever mentioned on their website or literally anywhere else, so we had no clue. I wouldn't recommend it, like at all. It's probably quieter in a Wawa parking lot if you want to try your luck.

This year, 2026, we were scheduled to arrive on June 19 and depart on June 28. On June 6, my husband had a serious accident that required surgery ASAP, with a projected recovery period of approximately 6 months. Unfortunately, we needed to cancel the trip. Their cancelation policy says that you can receive a full refund of any previously paid money if you cancel within 15 days of your arrival date. I called them on June 6 ( the day of the accident) and explained why we needed to cancel. The person I spoke to said that June 6 was 14 days prior, so I would be forfeiting my deposit. She said we could put it towards a rescheduled trip, but as I had explained, his projected recovery time is at least 6 months, so I really wouldn't know where to even start with that. We didn't just decide not to go. We always book there and always stay between 8 and 10 days. We canceled due to a medical emergency within one day of the policy. I totally understand that rules are in place for a reason, but I also believe that they could make some exceptions on a case by case basis and according to past interactions with the guest. We are not people who take advantage of things like this and we're really looking forward to another vacation there. Jury is still out if we will go back, or find some place else to call home while vacationing in Wildwood/ Cape May.

Our vacation was ruined and we will never go back or recommend this place. Fingerprints all over the elevator and glass doors -just overall gross. I asked for a refund so I could check out and find a better place but was refused so I am going to dispute my stay with the bank. The worst place I have ever stayed. The place is outdated and it's musty and moldy and gross. Save your money.
