From the initial consult to the procedure itself, everyone was extremely accommodating and explained everything throughly. The office is really nicely set-up from the coffee machine in the waiting room to the big-screen in the operating area. The clinic itself was fine. The lack of parking was a minor inconvenience, but we found a space a few hundred yards away after about 10 minutes. The reception from the doctor was very cold. He came across as pretentious rather than professional, and I felt uncomfortable throughout the visit. One of his first questions was when I was planning to start treatment and make payment. Once he realised I was still at the research and consultation stage, he seemed to lose interest and simply lowered the chair. I was attending this clinic with several issues over the years (over an hour left waiting after my appointment time then the dentist was on her mobile while I was in the appointment, incorrect emails stating I needed teeth taken out, arriving well before closing time but refused to sell me a product as the till was shut, having to take an antibiotic due to pain after a filling, etc.). However, I reached my limit late last year. I had a check-up and the dentist placed a temporary filling in and told me it was a matter of urgency to return for an inlay asap (this was November). The dentist then canceled my inlay appointment and I was advised they could not do it until the new year and to reschedule then. I emailed this year to reschedule and was informed I could not reschedule unless I had another check-up with a new dentist first! When I complained and forwarded the email on rescheduling I was told not to ask questions to reception staff on dentistry matters and if it didn't suit they would refer me elsewhere! Wow, what a way to communicate with a long-term patient! I then had to wait another month for a new appointment with the new dentist they referred and start the process of a check-up again. Thus, at this stage, I need a crown instead of an inlay. I regret I stayed with them so long! Avoid! read more

I am 36 yrs old woman , no smoker and have always had a very healthy mouth. I had a implant placed where my 1st molar was (upper left) because after several years of treatment (included root canal ) it was impossible to save it so i got it removed. Unfortunately , the surgical procedure carried out by Dr Linehan was a total disaster and the results were not cosmetics at all. The gum tissue in the area of the implant is now like 1/2 inch above the rest of my gum line and it really looks ugly ... When i talked to Dr Linehan he said that " i was lucky the molar was in the back so it wasn't very visible". Also the crown is much shorter compare to the rest of my teeth so you can see a gap/space in between the lower and upper molar. When i confronted Dr Linehan he said he couldn't do much and said he had talked to his colleges in the practice but they wouldn't be able to help me either so he will refer to me to another doctor in Dublin. Also i never got any information about any warranty or even which kind of implant did he placed so i had to contact them months after the surgery and they gave me the implant model/brand and said that i had 2 years guarantee but did not really specify what exactly does covers that guarantee... After 3 months of talking to him and addressing the issue i haven't being contacted back and of course, the re feral letter never arrived... i guess Dr Linehan doesn't want his prospects patients to discover that his surgical technique is not as good as their marketing campaigns advertise... I paid more that 2K Euro and the results are awful so i recommend you look elsewhere if you want to get a implant in Dublin. read more
