This is the closest cigar lounge from cape may nj we could find with a lounge to sit in. We were a little worried about the run down looking area where Seagars is located but the products in the humidor made up for it. Great selection of cigars. Some were a little pricey for NJ. I'm giving four stars because the sitting area needs some work. With people coming in from Ventnor, margate and cape I was expecting the leather sofa to not be ripped and faded. The other chairs were uncomfortable & run down. It also needs some ambiance, maybe a paint job and some photos or cigar boxes on the walls. Something that shows that management wants it's customers to be comfortable. I would go back to pick up cigars to smoke outside when it's warmer. I wish the owners realized what a gem they have here & what it could really be with a little upgrade. read more

From the front it looks like the typical smoke shop that has mostly vape and pot stuff and a few cigars. WOW, was I wrong. There is a large humidors with quality cigars including ligas, acids and other free estate as well as diesels, cao, and everything else you have seen in bigger shops. There is a nice lounge in the back and the guy working was VERY knowledgeable and very relaxed. No pressure or rushing. I will absolutely be back here every time I am down that way! Great cigar shop off shore in Rio Grande. The inventory is huge ,fresh and a they have a very wide selection . Prices are good and not as expensive as the cape may cigar shops. They have a few lounge chairs good TV and all if the smokes you can think of. Think of this place as your own "Man Cave" to sit back and enjoy a cigar . read more

Seagars Smoke Shop My mother-in-law lives in the Cape May area and for years I have been wandering around Cape May and wondering why they don't have a good cigar lounge in the area. Well, the search is over, Seagars Smoke Shop has a very large walk in humidor and well stocked. Large sitting area with a few TV's to watch your sport of choice. They do have a member's only back lounge that I have not yet visited but maybe next time. BYOB and pickies (finger food) are okay to bring so no worries on that front. Liquor store and a Subway are in the same strip mall, making it convenient for impromptu parties. My only complaint is that is it not down in Cape May but I am guessing the rent would make it pricey. Updating my original review. The cigar side is five stars all day long. Their selection is amazing. The staff is friendly and I never leave unhappy. The drop in rating is because they have dropped the ball on their vape side. Juice selection is horrible. Devices are cheap and overpriced. I bought a bottle and it ha sheen on the shelf too long. Soured. If you aren't going to be fully committed to both sides, then drop out of the one. It seemed like they were going to go full bore and open up another location dedicated to the Vape. read more

I wasn't impresses at all. The owner or manager seemed annoyed by my questions . He then went in the back to get my tobacco , so I asked the young man behind the counter if there smoke eaters were worth the money . He had his head down and answered " I don't know" I said do you think the manager will know " I don't know" was the answer. When the manager came back out he was just as uninterested in my questions as his rude employee, I left saying " thank you have a nice day' . No response .
