I only needed the water but I did give the store a spin and it looked to be a very good place to get your beer and wine. They had both the more expensive wines and the more affordable wines here. All of the shelves were merchandised and stocked very well. At the front of the store at the registers they also sell tobacco products of all sorts. I had a few people in front of me in line but the line moved quickly. The cashier who waited on me was very friendly and professional. I noticed they had a restroom here and when I went in to use it I could see that they keep the restroom pretty clean. If you're looking to buy beer and wine this definitely would be a good place to shop for it.

Everything he's recommended has been spot on. The pipe tobacco selection is great, and he'll adapt to your preferences mixing a special blend, etc. If certain tobaccos are not available, it's never for lack of trying - Joe has to rely on what can be procured from manufacturers and imported. Tobacco taxes have gone up astronomically so it's a very tough business to make a profit in - it has to be for the love of the product and customers more than anything. Joe is always a gentleman, gracious and genuine. He has a crew of regulars who hang out and enjoy their smokes, and frankly I'm always delighted by their banter. Good guys. Joe is a great proprietor - he's dressed the part in his vest, pocket watch and Sherlock Holmes kind of pipe. He's always ready to help with a huge smile, and very kind way about him. The store is everything it should be - homey, well-furnished, magazines and coffee, man-cave, and filled with the aromas of quality tobaccos. The humidor area is very clean. If someone is looking for a hospital sterile environment in a tobacco store, perhaps they should reconsider smoking in the first place. The clientele is republican/conservative, so if the politics bother you, there's not much to say. This is a gem of a place, and I hope he can stay in business for a long time despite all the legislation against the enjoyment of tobacco.

I had a Smok stick to start with and was thinking of moving into something heavier as I had quit smoking almost entirely in the 6+ weeks I started vaping (less a few cigarettes during a week long power outage where I couldn't charge my stick). Much of the juice is behind the counter blocked by Covid plexiglass and difficult to see. He was not happy or patient in having to tell me what was behind there, but we couldn't disturb his dog. Upon checking out I asked for a discount for a multi-bottle purchase (most shops I frequent give a 15 or 20% discount on orders over $100 or offer a rewards card). Here you put in your phone number for a $5 discount. Since leaving the store three hours ago I have received 9 texts from the "rewards" company. I am pretty loyal to a shop in downtown Portsmouth which has always treated me well but wanted to see what this place had to offer. I will not make the mistake of going back to NH Vape Gallery. For what I spent here I could have gotten better, cheerful service and more juice for my money in Portsmouth. The selections of juice are pretty similar. Shoulda just walked out but I had the momentum toward the purchase and didn't think it through.
