May 12th after driving 3 days across country his older brother who acted as a father to him attempted to claim the twisted metal that had been his bike. This towing company advised him that to retrieve the bike it would take $4,000.00. They later reduced it to $3,200.00. From what I can find the maximum storage per day is $50.00 for anything weighing less than a van. $50.00 × 8 days =400.00. ($400.00-$500.00 per day???? Really?) Even adding labor would not add up to $3,200.00. These people took extreme advantage of a severely grieving family. Knowing that coming from 1/2 way across the continent he had no choice but to pay it if he wanted to save this last link with his brother. This is a disgusting example of how far people will go when greed is involved. I truly hope and pray that this is not a true example of the type of people we have become.

He is an extremely caring individual who does his best to be as helpful as possible in every situation. I was extremely distraught after totaling my car, and he did his best to make me feel better about the whole situation. Today he knew that I was running late to class, so he came as quickly as possible, clearly concerned, and trying to get it started as quickly as he could. I had a break down on my vehicle that was under warranty…read more Contacted my insurance for roadside assistance who then contacted NoDak Towing out of Minot, ND. I get a call from a Markus, who I now know is the owner of the company, he says a tow truck is in route and the vehicle will be picked up within two hours. We decide the best course of action is that I would leave the truck on the side of the road and they would tow the vehicle to the dealership. Hours go by, numerous phone calls between me and NoDak towing. Finally he says the vehicle was dropped off at the dealership. Contact the dealership and they cant get the vehicle in for service for a week. Not a big deal, my truck is already there. Expect it isn't... A week later I discover that Markus lied and the vehicle was never towed in the first place. The Sheriff's department was about to impound the vehicle as it had been there for a week, but fortunately knew me personally and contacted me. I call NoDak Towing and again talk to Markus. He said it was a mistake, but he will get on it right away. A few hours go by, I call again in which he says he is headed there right now to pick it up. At this point I drive a significant ways out of my way to check on the truck. STILL THERE. This company is a joke, complete lack of professionalism, doesn't communicate, and flat out lies to their customer. I am absolutely baffled that Markus thinks this is acceptable. Now the truck is being towed by a different company, it can only go up from here.

We had two children in the car and it could've ended way worse- thank god it didn't but we DID NOT call a tow truck to be made fun in one of most vulnerable moments.
