I went on Saturday and waited over an hour. What's special is that you can sign up for the event and get 20% off all products, which is rare for the Korean cosmetics line because they usually don't go on sale. For this special event, they have a limited edition line of tinted sunscreens that come in various shades, so you can color-match your skin with the various samples. It was hard for me to find the right one initially, but I went with the Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen MP200, which has a pink undertone. You'll notice the second letter of the item will have a 'P' or 'N'; 'P' stands for pink, and 'N' stands for Neutral. The pink undertone works better for me. So once you get in the store, you'll be given a program/booklet. You'll want to write your name and the last four digits of your phone number, and in the program, it'll have the products, and you can list the quantity of each product you want. You give your booklet to the team members, and they'll call you when they're ready. The event has a rice bar with rice treats and a photo booth. The space is small, but you can chat with the representatives to learn more about the various products. Their most popular product is the TikTok viral sunscreen, but due to FDA regulations, the Korean version can't be sold in the States. So Beauty of Joseon had to pivot and create a new sunscreen, so check it. It was pretty good, but overall, it was a cool event!

The place was well decorated and they offered yummy free Korean treats such as unlimited pink sikhye, peppero, and Yakgwa. I loved how they had all their skincare products out for you to sample with workers that gave you a full on review on the products. They also had a fun Photo Booth where you got a picture and free skincare samples after! We bought two serums there and got 20% off on top by attending the pop up. Great event for learning new products and sampling in order to be better educated to buy!

In February 2021, Gucci sold their cosmetics and fragrance division to corporate: COTY, which is a conglomerate for other similar brands. Although, Gucci still maintains licensing rights to the name GG/Gucci, COTY has a greater global marketing and distribution especially in Asia. Sometimes when an exclusive high end brand 'sells out,' to a conglomerate, it loses it cache when many of its loyal customers, because the loyal customers no longer believe the brand is that exclusive...and sometimes Devalues and with Miley on board, they're right on track. This is a cute temporary pop up shop to check out with cool pink floral wallpaper. Located in the meridian next to The Fountain Bar. 'Gucci Flora' is among the latest fragrance lines and has Miley Cyrus as the spokesperson was a turn off for Me. While she may be a great singer/performer, there is nothing 'Gucci Flora' about her and she is not someone I would like to emulate or exude her scent...a major Gucci gag reflex!!

This pop up is well-stocked with fragrance and cosmetics so it's a guarantee you'll find what you're looking for--plus the cute swing outside the pop up makes for a good photo op.

Coming from the East Coast, where farmers and flea…read moremarkets used to be everywhere before many of those spaces turned into condos, it felt refreshing to experience something like this still thriving in Los Angeles. What stood out most was how much there was to see and taste. I loved wandering through and sampling along the way. I grabbed empanadas from Nonna's, picked up stylish prescription glasses from Julian and his team at the Optical Market, and finished with a refreshing hibiscus tea to go. And that was just scratching the surface. There's truly something here for everyone--green juices, freshly shucked oysters, beignets, custom ice cream flavors, fresh butcher selections, and so much more. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend hours exploring. My only regret is not having more time to try everything. It's a great spot for tourists, but also perfect for a cute, easy weekend outing.

I was drawn to come check this place out since it has been around for quite some time. It seemed to have everything there: candy shops, baked goods, pizza, ice cream, fried chicken, burgers, deli's, salad, empanadas, seafood, dumplings.. the list goes on. If you are ever in the area and you want to grab a snack or a meal, this is a great place to visit. I think parking is free for 90 minutes if you get it validated by a merchant inside. I wish I had more time there, but I will definitely go back when in this area. I ate at Magee's Kitchen and my niece got pizza. Both were pretty delicious. Aside from the good coffee, this place is must visit. I believe this building used to be a bank with vaults inside. The high ceilings and perimeter mezzanine with art deco accents is what lured me in. Kopi Tubruk is a coffee served the traditional way without a filter. This coffee is earthy, chocolaty and nutty. You have to wait a few minutes for the coffee grinds to settle the bottom. Otherwise, you'll be sipping on bitter grinds. Cool spot to chill downstairs or upstairs with ample seating to get some work done or chilling. A must visit just for the architecture.

It's a roaming gem that pops up around SoCal with a curated selection of love stories and bookish gifts - think books, stickers, hats, totes, bookmarks, etc!!! I first found Fleuria at The Coffee Bar in El Segundo during their birthday celebration (yes, the same day I visited the book truck and discovered a new favorite coffee shop!). Just seeing the truck/van made my morning between the pastel decorations, the smell of new books, and the promise of great new reads. Browsing through their books, I was impressed with the variety as there are more books than just romance. And, the prices? On par with independent bookstores. After my first visit, I also went with a friend to their book swap event at the Runway in Playa Vista which the owner of Fleuria had shared with me during my visit at The Coffee Bar. This experience was just as delightful! I got to meet fellow bookworms, chat about favorite books, trade books, and discover some titles I hadn't heard of before. The owner is seriously so sweet and genuine, full of warmth and love for the selection of books she curates. The Fleuria isn't just a truck selling books. I can tell the owner works to create a community in the process: A place where book lovers can gather, where books feel personal. Whether you're buying a book, swapping one, or just browsing for inspiration, The Fleuria feels cozy and special. So, if you love romance, or even just want something charmingly different, Fleuria is a must!!! I know I'll be keeping a close eye on their pop-ups and other bookish events!

Upon reservation check in and covid vax verification, you are handed a $10 credit to shop in the store. It's not real cash and the items are at giveaway prices. I decided on the Single Drunk Female Beanie, $5.00, the sweatband/headband for workouts, $1.00, and the coffee mug, $4.00. If I could've paid real cash I would've loved the glass water bottle wrapped with insulated cotton, $6.00 as well as a T-shirt and canvas bag. There were healthy green and fruit juices for sale as well as flavored waters and even a matcha and coffee bar. You were only allowed 1 of each item and that $10 limit. Super fun and colorful, great advertising, very clever and well organized. Loved it!!!
