They saved my hair!…read more I came here once to see if they could help me after I'd had a hair disaster at another salon nearby. (I'd asked for highlights and I got thick block streaks.) The girls here were great, they completely understood what had gone wrong and they advised me on what to do. They managed to slot me in two days later, brilliant! As I entered the girl on the desk remembered me and came up, smiling and chatting. I was put at ease straight away. They gave me a coffee and a magazine and got to work. A few hours later my hair was complete and I was in shock. There were no blocks of blonde anymore just carefully blended shades complimenting one another. They'd even got my style correct without having to ask. Over the years my hair ideas have changed so I had to step away from Evolution as they want to do the same thing with me each time. I come here for any trims I need and I go elsewhere for my colour.

It can be a little hard to find…read moreat first as it is located above Yum Yum cafe in the City Arcade - you access the salon by some stairs at the back of the cafe. I will state that Paul is a personal friend from long before he had the salon however this doesnt affect my rating as im really particular about who cuts my hair! particularly my fringe - thankfully Paul has a steady hand as i like my fringe to be extremely precise! Good prices, a damn good cut and Paul is an absolute star. Ive recommended it to many friends who have all come away loving it - many are still going back again and again. Pop in and see for yourselves :) Oh and there arent any card facilities - i can understand this in today's world as this adds to businesses costs plus there are cashpoints just outside the arcade so only, literally, a few steps away from the salon!
