Although it was slow we were pleased with the finished result. We had more carpeting planned this year and returned to them again, but have been exertemely disappointed with the length of time (4months since paying in full- which is when the carpets have arrrived in the shop) to get carpets fitted as well as additional hidden payments (for plying floor prior to carpets being laid) added on at the last despite 5 visits by shop staff and fitters before agreeing quote. Would not recommend or use again.

Planned to do most of our new house using first floors, but later decided not to put all our eggs in one basket and see how they did with just kitchen and two bathrooms. Asked end of May if they could do the work before 18th June, which is when we would be on holiday. They said it would be a push but yes. Pencilled in 17th June. Ordered materials, paid deposit. To cut a long story short, we moved into our new house on 19th July with no kitchen or bathroom floors and no date given when the work could be done. We'd already paid for the materials so asked them to deliver so we could get our own fitters. They did, less some items we'd actually paid for (and they ignored my email to ask for an up to date invoice). My advice: visit their nice showroom, take some samples, choose what you like, then buy it online (it'll be cheaper) and find your own fitter - easy to do through mybuilder for example. Got the floor done nicely and quickly within 10 days around 15% cheaper than first floors' price. My analysis: giving them the benefit of the doubt, they're busy and can't cope with the business, so are messing around the lower value jobs (my job was around £1000 value). Without the benefit of the doubt, they are either incompetent in their admin or dishonest, or both.

Auldhouse Retail Park itself doesn't look too hot and this has got to be the shop, or one of them,…read morewithin it that looks particularly uncool and dated. It can't help it with it's yellowing sign and cheesy tick at the 'Right' in its name. But, I find this quite endearing kinda like when the boy is drunkenly eating pizza and ends up with tomato sauce streaks on his chin, you know? You know it shouldn't be endearing, but the fact remains it is - every once and a while. Indeed, this is a place I have been in a few times but these have been few and far between. Due to this, I really like the place. It's massive (as all of these retail outlets are) and has a wide range of stock: carpets, vinyls, flooring tiles and even a few rugs. These can be acquired in almost any colour, shade, pattern, quality and price. There's even a specific bargain bin area when there are cut offs of different flooring materials that have been found or used in a display etc. Many of these are not especially pleasant or are so small you wonder what you'd be expected to do with them - line the bottom of your wardrobe? Anyway, this is worth having a little look in as every now and again you'll find something that might find your needs. Though, obviously if you live in a mansion it's not going to happen but a new build or Glasgow flat - you might get lucky. Meanwhile, they have a weird little showroom section at the front with dated three piece suites (last time it was a warm pink one with tassells - sexy!) which I always find amusing and slightly creepy at the same time. The other bonus, is very helpful and friendly staff that happily let you browse but are on hand to answer any questions or provide flooring advice, hints and tips. Excellent for all of your flooring needs.

This has been the go to carpet store for my family for years and it was my 1st choice for bathroom…read morevinyl after my neighbour very kindly flooded me. There was plenty to choose from with prices clearly labelled and a member of staff was on hand to help convert my measurements for me. They also offer a no obligation measurement and quite service which is really handy. The fitters are self employed comtractors so when you buy your flooring you pay the fitters seperate when they complete the job. I was given a phone call the night before delivery to confirm if it was an Am or Pm delivery. I was told between 12 and 4 and the guys arrived at 3pm. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of delivery and I will continue to use this store for years to come.
