Artwork, legos, organized and scheduled activities, indoor playground and jungle gyms, and not to mention one of the coolest parks I have ever seen in my life. All the cages looked so clean and well maintained, I didn't get sad seeing a bunch of animal see caged up for the first time. One of the staff even had the bearded dragon out for us to interact with. I don't live in Enid but if I did I would get a membership in a heartbeat for my family.. I think it's important this place is well supported and stays open for a very long time. Although it was cold (lovely February day) for baseball, it was still a good experience. The 1 room museum with baseball history was packed full of goodies to see. Consession stand was also good. The part that really made it unique though was the elevated train tracks behind the outfield. We saw a couple of trains during the gameplay. Fun stuff and definitely reminded me of Brewster's Millions, though thankfully, the train didn't run through center field. Oh last thought. Parking would probably be pretty tight for a packed stadium. I only noticed one parking lot, but we were only in town for the game.

I came here after a game in order to watch the fireworks that they do every year near the Fourth of July. There actually isn't very much seating as the stadium isn't very big, so if there is a big came coming up you will probably want to come a little early to ensure that you get a seat. The concession stand was okay. They have all of your typical things that you would expect to get at a baseball park, but they are really doing the bare minimum. I got the nachos and it was just chips with nacho cheese sauce on the side for dipping. I shared a snow cone with my friend and although they put plenty of syrup in so it was flavorful, the ice was not very finely shaved so it was difficult to eat. I likely will not return to watch a game here, because I am not a huge baseball fan. However, the stadium was clean and the fireworks were pretty!

Even if you are…read morenot a history buff, the best and most interesting display about the Cherokee Strip is found at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid. It is a fascinating, complete, and easy to understand description of the 1893 Land Run and the people who settled Northwest Oklahoma. If you haven't been there, don't miss it!
