In addition to rehabbing various birds of prey brought to them by the public and elsewhere, the Center puts on local and regional educational programs which are fun, family-friendly, photo-op-filled affairs. The highly recommended "Football, Fans and Feathers" program occurs Fridays before home games and for a mere $5, you can learn about and meet several resident birds including owls, vultures, hawks, and the famous eagles who fly before Auburn football games. These truly are beautiful and magnificent birds. Sometimes it can get way crowded, so be sure to get there early!

I spent the summer in Auburn working and was looking for a crossfit gym. NGL when I saw the website…read moreI was a little intimidated even though I've been doing crossfit for a few years (better yesterday...though lol). However, the first class I had with Nathan was incredible. This place is not only an excellent facility--spcaious, clean, lots of equipment, circulation--but the coaches...it's the coaches for me. My technique in squats, snatches, kipping pull-ups and even rowing improved tremendously. I can't say enough about Nathan, Autumn, and Aubrey. They really break down the movements to help you improve all-around. It's also a gym for everyone--age, fitness level, etc. There are three tailored levels for each workout, which for me is very helpful as I'm often in the middle. The classes weren't too crowded, either, but I'd bet it can get quite busy during the semester. I was proud to call this place home for over 2 months and will definitely be returning whenever I'm in town!
