It's such an intimate venue! Amazing owners that make you feel at home and you are family! Worth the drive from wherever you live! We drive from Conroe and rent a room! Great date night go to!

I love the bands that come through here. But do not leave a credit card on file, they will definitely add several extra drinks to it or charge an exorbitant tip to your card. Beware. I hope the owners become aware of this! Make sure to pay on cash!

We decided to visit Scout Bar for the Boys Don't Cry Concert. Our bartender was on point with our drinks and of course Boy's Don't Cry were the best as usual. I would have given Scout Bar five stars but the DJ had the volume to low after the concert ended which hindered us from wanting to stay longer. But overall it was a great night.

Great bar for concerts! I have now seen 2 bands there- totally different music styles. Both performances were awesome! Got tickets on line- found a non reserved seat by the bar and had great service from the bar staff! Plenty of great beers on tap with bar pizza. Open floor plan allows for great listening no matter where you sit!

Spazmatics - so, like, totally awesome! ;)

Scout Bar was a fun nod to some live music dive bar in SF. I had an amazingly fun time here watching the charismatic Spazmatics ($10 for the 80s cover band here every second Friday of the month.) I can't speak for this place as a bar; I didn't order anything while here. As a music venue, it was a fun, small, intimate place to watch a show. Certainly the peak of the show was between 10-12; after that people started to dwindle away with each set break. There were a few weirdos here, as with any concert. Some had to be escorted out. However, the rest of the attendance was having fun, singing and dancing along with the band. And that's what I like--an unabashed group that is enjoying the evening together. There were three stalls in the women's bathroom; the wait didn't seem too long in the set breaks. Also, it was kept relatively clean for what I was expecting at a dive bar. All-in-all, this Scout Bar gets almost an Eagle Scouting commendation from me, particularly with special badges for Small Live Music Venue and Interior Decor (not quite the Fillmore, but who can beat them?)

The bar itself is maybe a 2 star but they get some amazing shows here for a small venue. Worth a visit if you like the band.

Can I wear shorts?

Yes. The last time I was here I had cargo shorts on.

How is the parking, and where you would you recommend to park your vehicle at? I am planning to see an artist next month on the 25th @ 8pm, and is my first time being at this venue.

There's tons of parking, though I got to the venue early for a pre-show. You should be fine, there's a business next door with a large lot

My sister parked on the other side and it was 40.00. I only paid 12.00 or so. They recognize your license plate so it's easy to pay and exit. The venue was decent, had a huge bar at the entrance along with a coat check for umbrellas. You can't take them inside. They also check for large bags and backpacks so be careful with large purses. Seating was upgraded for us, we were on about row 10. Seats are super small. Not sure how comfortable someone would be as they are really close together. Luckily, two people next to us did not show up so we could have a seat between us. Otherwise it was shoulder to shoulder. That's the only improvement they need to make. Lots of nice bars and seating along the sides of the venue which allows you to hear the music. The restrooms were small and only 2 were working which made for a long line.

The venue is beautiful, spacious, and designed so well that no matter where you stand, you have a clear view of the artist. I loved that there wasn't a single "bad spot" in the building. The drinks were also pretty good! I ordered a lemon drop, and my husband had an old fashion both were well-made and added to the vibe of the night. The energy of the crowd, the lighting, the sound... everything worked together to make the show feel magical. Erykah Badu delivered, and the venue absolutely did her justice. Overall, it was an amazing show in an amazing space. I would definitely go back again for another concert!

I don't remember them serving food while I was there, but the drinks were definitely flowing. The bartender was friendly and quick with the mixes -- no long waits at the bar, which is always a plus when the place starts getting busy. The energy really picked up once the house music got going. The DJ kept the crowd moving, and the whole space felt lively without being overwhelming. I also appreciated that they had plenty of seating, including booths for groups who wanted to sit back, catch up, and still enjoy the music. It's a solid spot whether you're there to dance or just hang out with friends.

I was at House of Blues recently for Oneus concert, which was amazing as always. My review,…read morehowever, is strictly for the venue itself, which was pretty below average to me. The venue does have clear bag and bag check policies, so make sure to check on their policies on their website before arriving. This location hosts multiple different businesses. Once arrived at the location, finding the entrance/floor to the venue itself was confusing unless you've been here before. There was barely any instructions on how to get to the actual venue itself. It is located on the third floor, and the elevator for that is old and smelly. The interior of the venue was not bad, but it wasn't the best either. The venue's lighting was also super dark even before/after the concert. My group had the front row balcony seat, and the view was actually pretty decent. I had purchased the party pass which came with priority entry, a small selection of foods, and a drink. You can find the menu on their website, but the menu is pretty pricey. I got the lemonade and chicken tenders/fries, and they tasted okay. My friend had the second row floor seat (which at certain spots were blocked by stage equipments). She also paid for the associated parking ahead at the time of booking, but the parking turned out to be super far from the venue, which wasn't great either. Overall I probably would not come back here unless there was a concert I really didn't want to miss.
