Ben Horowitz came to our home as scheduled, examined the tree and gave us his professional opinion. We elected to have this tree removed and a new tree planted. Ben shopped new trees for us and showed us several pictures of potential replacements. We chose the one we liked the best and he scheduled the planting for December 2025. His crew showed up on time and planted our new tree. We were so impressed by Ben's professionalism that we decided to have their companies irrigation specialist, Caleb, come to our home to review our irrigation scheme and make recommendations which included multiple changes to our irrigation scheme and a new remotely controlled irrigation system. These changes have reduced our monthly irrigation expenses by more than 30%. Ben visited our home several times to make sure that the new tree was flourishing. In one of his visits, we asked if he would take a look at our existing trees and provide us with an estimate for tree trimming. He did provide a very reasonable estimate and we contracted with the company for this service. Once again, the crew showed up on time and completed the work as promised. I called Jason of Bros Tree Care (BTC) because I had admired his crew's work on a neighbor's yard awhile back. Jason answered my call in person and came out at the end of the day to assess my situation. I gave him a long list of needed services. I asked him to straighten and re-stake the toppled mesquite, prune and trim three other large trees, remove an agave, cut out dead branches from a yucca, and shape some bushes. He provided a comprehensive estimate and a total price his competitors could not match. He and his crew of three brothers came out on a boiling hot Saturday and began working with exceptional efficiency, safety, and expertise. It was amazing to watch their coordinated efforts, especially when all four of them pounded huge stakes into my rocky soil to re-secure my fallen mesquite. I thanked them all for their super-human work and wondered how they had the energy to go on to their next job. I am writing this review six weeks after the services provided by BTC. My re-staked fallen tree has survived three wind storms and a torrential microburst (60+ mph). Thanks to practical and artistic pruning cuts, my other trees have leafed out and look better than ever.
