Subtracted 2 stars because of all the Chinese made MAGA trump garbage/paraphernalia. Great place to stop in for an ice cream cone and snacks. For being in the middle of nowhere the price of gas is decent. read more

I'm just here to recommend stopping here for ice cream!!! They have all the usual things for a quick stop...but their ice cream cones are huge!!!! Make sure if you're getting gas...grab a cone!! read more

Scott's Quik Stop - Gas Stations Near Me - Marlette, Michigan

We stop in here often when we're either going to Port Austin or coming from Port Austin. It's a pretty busy gas station that has a lot of different grab-and-go items. They're known for their big ice creams though! This is the last stop for a while going either way, so make it count! read more

Scott's Quik Stop - a view of a gas station - Gas Stations Near Me - Marlette, Michigan

Great ice cream and sandwiches. They have a little bit of everything. Don't miss out on the Buck Pole!!!

Looking for a great ice cream stop? You found it just north of Marlette! We tried the baby cones and they are almost as big as a double back home. Waffle cones were crisp and fresh. We got one in a cup to share w/ two spoons. The ice cream was fresh and on the softer side for a hand dip, so it was easy to eat. We appreciated the immaculate bathrooms. Hubby said the men's was cleaner than many nice restaurants he had been in. We loved all the merchandise! There was lots to see. I wish we had more time. Great stop for a pro-America, pro-freedom, pro-LEO, and pro-2A gift! Make your wardrobe great again here with purses, tees, hats, socks and lots more swag, too! As for the guns, the selection was on the eclectic side, which isn't surprising if they do resale. It looked to be kind of a combo of Dunham's Sporting Goods meets pawn shop style. They seemed to have ammo for most hunting guns and a good assortment of cleaning supplies, too. We also found a nice selection of handgun holsters & rifle and handgun magazines, some of which you'd typically have to order online. Fresh donuts, light groceries, and even hot showers available, too! I'm sure the Buck Pole would be impressive in season. A fun stop for local flavor when you gas up! read more

After getting our photo under the buck pole we had the most magical experience browsing the isles of Scott's! From the Trump attire to the semi automatic weapons (don't forget the countless rounds of ammo) ice cream scoops, bologna salad, homemade chocolate, meat sticks, and so much more. The staff was the friendliest crowd in the thumb. We will most definitely be back to Scott's next time we find ourselves in Michigan!! read more

Stop here! This place is amazing not only can you grab lunch buy a gun and fill your car up with gas but you can also take a shower and wash your dirty smelly self if you want to! They have a good selection of beer premade submarine sandwiches but not to mention I cannot forget this is more important part is they have something called a buck pole!!!! Now this is not a myth or legend... it is literally a ginormous pole that is put up to display Michigan's thumbs finest deer that were taken during hunting season!!! there is literally dear dangling from this magnificent pole during hunting season and is quite the sight. even if you're just driving by in November make sure you check out the awesome racks people tagged this season pretty neat... read more

My family and I love this place. The ice cream cones are huge and everyone is so nice! We always stop when we're near.

Cash for guns in the heart of the Thumb of Michigan. Pretty decent convenience store at this auto/truck stop. They have locally produced foods. I suspect they are open 24/7, although I don't get up here often enough in the middle of the night to know for sure. Hey, they are friendly to hunters - they even have the old Buck Pole out back for everyone to see during deer hunting season(s). read more

Growing up hunting it was always something to look forward to opening day either getting a buck and taking it down to Scott's to hang up on the buck pole. Or even when I come into town to hangout for a weekend at the cabin they have anything I could need from liquor, ammo ,guns , sub sandwiches, ice cream, and even a hot shower. Great place and great people who work there. Never have had a bad experience. read more

If you're on your way to the thumb from the Detroit metro area, you owe it to yourself to stop for an ice cream at Scott's! Don't order more than a single or you'll have to spray yourself with Pam to get into your bathing suit! read more

Always great ice cream and big portions. The baby is plenty for me being 2 large scoops.

This is a Michigan tradition for us! We always come and get an Icecream. This is a party store and unlike where we are from you can purchase guns, liquor and huge Icecream cones. If your not starving only get the kid size cone. It is huge! read more

See all

Scott's Quik Stop has the best ice cream and they give you soo much of it. But the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because they have very rude and unhappy workers by the ice cream shop. I've been coming here for the past 3 years and it's the same attitude every time. read more

HUGE Ice cream cones! Amazing selection of beer & liquor. Tasty sandwiches/subs. Great selection of pop & snacks. Along with lots of hunting supplies!! Along with amazing owners:) read more

This is a great place to stop for ice cream. You really should know that if you order a baby ice cream cone its almost gonna be the size of anyone else's double! They also have a great selection of guns and ammo. Are you kidding me? How much more perfect can this get? Is there a shooting range out back? read more

Two stars because they don't make their employees wear gloves when they scoop your ice cream and they stick their thumbs in it to help scoop... I also witnessed an employee grab a full scoop of ice cream with her palm and stick it back in with the ice cream. read more
