Looking for a great ice cream stop? You found it just north of Marlette! We tried the baby cones and they are almost as big as a double back home. Waffle cones were crisp and fresh. We got one in a cup to share w/ two spoons. The ice cream was fresh and on the softer side for a hand dip, so it was easy to eat. We appreciated the immaculate bathrooms. Hubby said the men's was cleaner than many nice restaurants he had been in. We loved all the merchandise! There was lots to see. I wish we had more time. Great stop for a pro-America, pro-freedom, pro-LEO, and pro-2A gift! Make your wardrobe great again here with purses, tees, hats, socks and lots more swag, too! As for the guns, the selection was on the eclectic side, which isn't surprising if they do resale. It looked to be kind of a combo of Dunham's Sporting Goods meets pawn shop style. They seemed to have ammo for most hunting guns and a good assortment of cleaning supplies, too. We also found a nice selection of handgun holsters & rifle and handgun magazines, some of which you'd typically have to order online. After getting our photo under the buck pole we had the most magical experience browsing the isles of Scott's! From the Trump attire to the semi automatic weapons (don't forget the countless rounds of ammo) ice cream scoops, bologna salad, homemade chocolate, meat sticks, and so much more. The staff was the friendliest crowd in the thumb. We will most definitely be back to Scott's next time we find ourselves in Michigan!! read more

Stop here! This place is amazing not only can you grab lunch buy a gun and fill your car up with gas but you can also take a shower and wash your dirty smelly self if you want to! They have a good selection of beer premade submarine sandwiches but not to mention I cannot forget this is more important part is they have something called a buck pole!!!! Now this is not a myth or legend... it is literally a ginormous pole that is put up to display Michigan's thumbs finest deer that were taken during hunting season!!! there is literally dear dangling from this magnificent pole during hunting season and is quite the sight. even if you're just driving by in November make sure you check out the awesome racks people tagged this season pretty neat... read more

Cash for guns in the heart of the Thumb of Michigan. Pretty decent convenience store at this auto/truck stop. They have locally produced foods. I suspect they are open 24/7, although I don't get up here often enough in the middle of the night to know for sure. Growing up hunting it was always something to look forward to opening day either getting a buck and taking it down to Scott's to hang up on the buck pole. Or even when I come into town to hangout for a weekend at the cabin they have anything I could need from liquor, ammo ,guns , sub sandwiches, ice cream, and even a hot shower. This is a great place to stop for ice cream. You really should know that if you order a baby ice cream cone its almost gonna be the size of anyone else's double! Two stars because they don't make their employees wear gloves when they scoop your ice cream and they stick their thumbs in it to help scoop... I also witnessed an employee grab a full scoop of ice cream with her palm and stick it back in with the ice cream. read more
