We purchased all of our appliances there for our new home and three new toilets there as well. It…read morewasn't until sometime after that the toilets were installed that we discovered that the toilet seat was disfigured. Upon trying to return the toilet seat today and request a new one either from the toilet set or one from their shelves, the associate at the front said that it was very unhygienic to put a toilet seat on her counter and that it wasn't even in a plastic bag. Since the toilet seat had not been used I did not feel like it was unhygienic. She said that they don't take returns on toilet seats and if the toilet was purchased beyond a return date that no returns would be permitted -- are you listening CONTRACTORS? To prove the seat was unused I licked the damn thing. Apparently proof isn't what the manager wants and ordered me out of the store, saying that it was vile to do that in front of his associate. He also said that if he never sees me again, he'd be most happy. I asked if he was serious and he replied, "please leave my store." There are other places to purchase hardware and construction items so don't buy from Mike. He's a jerk who might have been having a bad day and decided to refuse service to someone who has spent over $6,000 in one year in his store. BTW, their delivery service is shabby.

Anyway, I have never had bad service from them, the prices are reasonable, I have bought all my snow blowers, 2 ATV's and 3 snowmobiles from them. Any service issues are dealt with straight away and they don't overcharge you, warranty work is done quickly and they seem genuinely concerned that all your issues are dealt with. They will answer any and all of your questions and they always know you (by name) when you go in and they always at least say Hello. It's always a pleasant experience going in, whether to browse or buy, they are always friendly and helpful. Ask nicely, they may even deliver your new purchase for free in the Fredericton area.

She seen a jeep across the street that she has been wanting since she was a teenager. Now that were able to afford these things I didn't mind when she wanted to run across the street quick to check the price before we started on our excursion to purchase our summer toys. By the time we got back across the street (which wasn't all that long) they had our car towed to the police impound. Our car isn't a beater! It isn't an eye sore. Not that should matter what we choose to drive seeing how we're paying customers about to drop 10's of thousands of dollars at your store. It's a late model sport sedan with custom paint and rims. A red and silver Saturn ion type r ro be precise. Needless to say we wont be making a purchase from them in any way shape or form. Lost a day's wages because of it as well! Shame on you guys! If I could give u negative stars I absolutely would!

We bought two couches last week at Hotchkiss. I was told the delivery charge was being waived. I…read morewasn't surprised because we live 1.5 km away from the store. I was surprised and upset when they wanted 50 dollars to bring the couches into my house and take away their packaging. I did not buy all the plastic and cardboard. In a response to my negative review they wrote that I refused the " 100 dollars package" that would have unpacked and brought my couches in the house and took away packaging. That's a lie. I never heard of their 3 tiers of delivery. Last but not least, the delivery truck sat in my driveway for 15 minutes and left two rather large oil spills on my concrete pad. The manager told me they don't deal with that issue. Never again
