You can tell a Daily Mail reader as soon as you meet them. Veins popping out of their neck, rationality replaced by venom spitting rhetoric, and face contorted in permanent state of moral outrage. Like The Times it's aimed at a conservative audience, but unlike The Times it's aimed at angry extremists lacking in education or any awareness of the world around them. This results in a somewhat odd editorial stance, that openly despises immigrants, foreigners and the working class, yet at the same time seems strangely jealous of them.

A regular highlight is the column by far-right catchphrase king Richard Littlejohn. Richard hates black people, but he REALLY hates gay people, to the extent that every column, no matter what it's meant to be about, will descend into a barely coherent Alf Garnett style tirade that ends with him calling for the carpet bombing of Brighton, yet at the same time failing to hide his closeted but obvious desires.
